Just when I thought my infatuation with English Country style might be over with... my October Editor's Picks suggested otherwise. This month - or rather this season really - has renewed my insatiable desire to layer textiles and pattern, and there is no better inspiration for this than this home by Christopher Howe...
I was considering this home for an entire house tour, but after pulling together all my favorite October finds, it seemed too perfect to not share as inspiration for this collection! Of course, I've added a few modern touches in there for good measure, too. Here are my lucky #13 picks for October:
1. bamboo chandelier | 2. blockprint quilt | 3. glazed green dishes | 4. wood and rope dining chair | 5. brutalist brass candelabra | 6. demi floral stripe wallpaper | 7. stripe silk rust pillow | 8. lumbar pillow | 9. hoxton leather sofa | 10. frannie rug | 11. harrison mirror | 12. woven stool | 13. glass carafe
I really love the touch of lighter green amongst the earthiness of some of these other pieces in the mix. And yes I realized I put two black and rope pieces in here because, I'm into it, guys. Also, all I want is quilts on every bed and sofa in the house right now, and Furbish currently has some of my favorites! Only problem is picking which one!? Also, definitely just ordered that carafe and water glass for my bedside table! I've been making a goal of drinking more water and I'm pretty sure this is going to help me get that done.
