Room Of The Week :: Pink Plaster Walls In A Farmhouse Kitchen
I first caught glimpse of these stunning pink plaster walls in the kitchen at least a month ago, and just about fell over with envy. Not many of us get to enjoy the gorgeous texture of venetian plaster walls... at least here in the states. And, it's rare that it's done as well and authentic as this Room of the Week by Jersey Ice Cream Co who transformed this London kitchen and home...
The palette in this dining room is to die for. Worn, soft woods, green bentwood chairs, grey cabinets and the surprise of that chartreuse green murano chandelier...
Copper with the pink walls is STUNNING. Love the white shiplap backsplash too, and of course that classic marble countertop, which is a must for this European style.
And, I had to give you a peek into the living room too - similar palette carried over with a hit of leather in that sofa, and walls in plaster grey. Oh, and that fireplace.
It is just lush with all that mottling…not sweet…just chic!! franki
I agree, Franki! I’ve never seen pink look so perfect (and not too sweet!)
It’s been awhile since you posted this but I wonder if you know the name of the color they used? Thanks!
At least one of these photos is blogger Skye McAlpine’s Venetian kitchen. http://www.frommydiningroomtable.com Look at the electrical outlets behind the sink. This is not taken in New Jersey
Hi Jeanne – it is Skye’s kitchen, and it was designed with the Jersey Ice Cream Co which is a design firm – I wasn’t implying that this kitchen is in New Jersey!
So Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
I think that kitchen is the most beautiful one I’ve seen in a very long time the pink plastered are right up my alley.
