August is right around the corner which means I'm counting down to my first camping trip of the summer. And by 'of the summer' I mean my first camping trip in years. It's not that I don't like camping... I've just never loved it enough to invest in all the stuff you need to do it. And, yes, after a few days of no shower, I tend to get a little cranky...
My guy on the other hand, calls my version of camping 'car camping' in a tone that suggest an eye roll or two on his part. How dare we drive straight up to a campsite instead of hiking into the wilderness for three days with only our packs to sustain us.
So what's a girl to do about this? Well, compromise, of course. We will go camping. It will be car camping - not glamping. And I will get dirty for a few days.
But you better believe I'm going to be practically stylish while doing it. Also, this is my version of 'practical'...
1 liberty of london floral print tent // 2 camping permit tray // 3 poler sleeping bag // 4 wood flashlight // 5 brass lantern // 6 yeti cooler // 7 enamelware mug // 8 waxed canvas travel chair // 9 uggs // 10 camping patches
