The Coco+kelley Office Makeover!
It seems like our office lately has been in a permanent state of chaos. We've been playing musical desks, clearing things out, and prepping for our potential (sob) move into a new space this fall. So amidst all that crazy, we decided it was time to get our act together and do a little refresh of our space...
And it was all inspired by this oversized art piece by Katie Craig sent to us by Minted! This is the second large scale piece I've received from them, and I'm so impressed by the quality and the ease of ordering - WITH framing - beautiful pieces of art from them. (You can see the other one here, in our dining room!).
It's not easy to find art large enough to cover our huge walls and scale with our tall ceilings. But this piece sure did the trick. I love the colors in it. There are touches of yellow and green that go with our furnishings, but it brought in beautiful blue and nude tones that are just dreamy...
Hanging the art in our little 'conference' area prompted a revamp of my desk area too. We had had two desks sitting here forever, but one of them has been unoccupied for quite some time, so I broke that one down and moved mine into a better position with a view of the room, and our gorgeous windows.
I cleared off my cluttered desk and was able to use the shelving for more storage ... and I finally finally put together some inspiration on my bulletin board.
The addition of the large artwork also inspired some new pillows for the window seat!! The perfect excuse to bring some blue into the space...
And, of course, replenish the bar...
All these little changes have resulted in some big love for the office! Everyone who comes in lately has been commenting on the art, and the calm, fresh vibe. And, I've been enjoying them every day too! So happy to spend the rest of our summer in this gorgeous space!

Love the makeover! I wish I could work in such a bright, airy space – especially on cloudy Seattle days!

Beautiful! One day we’ll have an office like this 🙂
Cassandra,
This makeover is fabulous! I’ve always wanted a “white and goldish” type of office myself, but with a toddler, my options are limited. I love how vast the space is and how you incorporated all the necessities to get work done. (like the mini bar!) The window seat is my absolute favorite. Good work.
Oh, I love how open, fresh, and clean it is. I could definitely be inspired in this room! Please come share your blog posts over at the Home Matters Linky Party! We’d love to have you for a visit. The Door is OPEN. http://lifewithlorelai.com/2015/07/23/home-matters-linky-party-47/ 🙂

I love the artwork! It is so nice to see one large piece rather than a gallery wall, it is a breath of fresh air!
LOVE the space, the whites keep it so clean! I think you should check out Society Social the next time you need to update the bar cart or pillows though, they have amazing stuff!
These offices are absolutely beautiful! I love how much natural light floods the office and the clean, tasteful decor.

Oh no. Are you moving or does everyone have to move?

I want to email coco Kelley. There is a rug in a living room design with burgundy like furniture that I would like to get.
Hi Joyce! You can use our contact form to email us directly (link is at the top of the page) but we do not sell the items on our site. If there is not a direct link to the rug you are looking at, then we probably won’t be much help, unfortunately!
