Room Of The Week // 5.27

I have some really really big dreams for when we remodel our upstairs attic. Currently in a state of patched carpets and exposed beams and insulation, I can close my eyes and see how amazing it could be. Possibly... something like this?

I love that they simply put two of the same sofas next to each other instead of a sprawling sectional - perfect for movie viewing! And I could see them turned to face each other too. This space is so welcoming. There is nothing overly-designed or precious about it, which is just what a family room should be.

The artist workspace is pretty fantastic. You can tell that everything in this collected space means something.

And just down the hall is the master bedroom - a perfectly simple but dreamy space...

Which once again has me questioning if the larger space we have to work with upstairs should be the bedroom, or just a huge room for all of us to enjoy?
