I've come to the recent realization that there is just SO so much good stuff going on in my city these days, that I want to be sharing much more of it with you all, and Miss Moorea Seal has given me the perfect opportunity to start kick things off with the launch of her new storefront in the Belltown neighborhood of Seattle.
I am genuinely excited for Moorea to be bringing her website to a brick and mortar location for all of us to enjoy, as they open to the public tomorrow night! But more importantly, I'm pretty stoked about her vision for this store, and the attitude she brings to it.
As I snapped these photos, Moorea and I talked about how important it is for stores in Seattle to be bringing genuinely beautiful and accessible design to the city - something that she is truly doing with this space. It's well curated, and offers a variety of pieces that stay true to her aesthetic at an affordable price point. Somethings she's been doing on her site for a while now.
I love the mix of home and accessories that she offers, and the jewelry selection is fantastic. I already have a few pieces I'm wanting to add to my collection...
If you're unfamiliar with the Moorea Seal online store, you should absolutely check it out, and you should also know that 7% of proceeds go towards a selection of non-profits which is amazing, and speaks to Moorea's mantra of 'Do Good, Do Great'. I for one am very happy to have this wonderful woman as a part of the Seattle design scene.
For those of you in the Seattle area, the grand opening for the store will be tomorrow, Friday May 9th, from 6-9pm at 2523 3rd Ave in Belltown. Hope to see you there!
