Cassandra is the founder and editor-in-chief of coco+kelley where she explores trends in fashion, decor and entertaining, highlighting pieces that exude classic design and glamour. A West Coast girl to the core, Cassandra was born in Santa Monica and migrated to the Pacific Northwest, thus infusing her with a mix of Hollywood glamour, bohemian tendencies, and a love for natural textures and organic style.

As a designer at The Emerald Studio, she provides interior design and styling to clients across the globe from her offices in Seattle.

Her projects range from marketing and graphic design to interior design, styling, and photo shoots. Dorothée Brand is one half of the bi-coastal photographer duo that is Belathée Photography. Since 2003 Dorothée and Annabel Braithwaite (her New York based counterpart) have specialized in boutique wedding photography, more recently adding interior and lifestyle photography to their portfolio. Whether shooting together or separately, Dorothée and Annabel create their signature and unique Belathée look (think Anthropologie meets Kate Spade), and their work has been published in Martha Stewart Weddings, Real Simple, and Town & Country, amongst other publications.

Sara Knowles Lead Designer at The Emerald Studio

Sara Knowles is the Lead Designer at our design firm, The Emerald Studio, and a home contributor here on the blog.

Her style is fresh and colorful, and heavily inspired by the natural world and her upbringing in Alaska. Prior to moving to Seattle and pursuing independent design work, Sara worked as a buyer at a vintage furniture store in Washington, DC, where she perfected her passion for treasure hunting and curating.


Cathy Poshusta Home Renovation & DIY Contributor

Cathy renovates old homes in Seattle with her husband and two young sons. She chronicles their work on the Grit and Polish blog. You can often find her in paint-stained jeans tackling DIY projects around the home. She is a born and raised North-westerner, and as such loves coffee, hoppy beer, and long hikes on the weekend.

Paola Thomas Food Writer & Photographer

Paola grew up with a love of food, cooking from scratch with her Italian mother, using what was grown in their English garden. Through her food photography, recipe development and food writing, she documents and shares the flavors of a place or season with the hope of encouraging and inspiring others to prepare simple yet amazing food.
