Brittany I used to have a sheepskin rug in my room (while a legit Persian rug would be ideal, post-college budget prevails!) because I wanted to add texture, plus it’s so cozy! BUT, majorly bummed at how quickly it became dirty and matted (even though I’d regularly clean it/shake it out), so it’s been relegated to the closet for shame of anyone seeing the matted mess. I wound up buying a cowhide and am much happier! I was surprised to find it’s actually soft on bare feet and it makes my tiny SF bedroom look much bigger, super groovy! (I think its free form shape means doesn’t allow you to immediately asses the scale of the room). Hope this is of help. Looking forward to seeing pictures of your progress!

Will keep a lookout! Have you tried contacting the photographer who took the photo? I’ve tracked paint colours and bed linens down that way! It could take a bit but would be worth getting the rug you really have your heart set on!
