The more of my friends that get married, the more I’m convinced I’ll need an ‘alternative’ engagement ring by the time it’s my turn. Partially because I can’t stand having something someone else already has, but also because I have a pretty specific aesthetic (shocking, I know). Enter the custom pieces over at Mociun … Despite […]

Oh my how beautiful!! I would love to be surprised one day by my boyfriend with a wedding ring, but then other days I’m like I hope he proposes than says okay I have this much to spend go pick out your own ring! That way I could customize like some of these beauties! Wow I love the emerald one!! =)

Oh my gosh, I couldn’t agree more! It simply wouldn’t be me to have something that is the standard. These are stunning, and certainly will be making it to my Pin board I have built for that certain Mr. Right if he ever comes along, to help guide him in picking out the perfect ring for me!
    Much love,

Woohoo lady! I totally see what you’re talking about. I’ve been thinking the same regarding “what everybody else is wearing” and that’s why I’ve been visibly drawn to vintage pieces. But this one is a great alternative. Thank you for sharing 🙂
May you have a fabulous week!

I couldn’t agree more. Everyone has a round or cushion diamond with a halo of diamonds around it and diamonds down the band. They are pretty, but so overdone. I just got engaged and have a gorgeous oval sapphire with trillion diamonds either side. I love it – classic, stylish, glamorous and sooo me!

BTW – love the phrase “specific aesthetic”!

These are all so beautiful! I love the idea of having a unique engagement ring, and using heirloom pieces would make it even more special

Oh I am obsessed with Mociun too! They have the best jewelry. I recently bought a pair of earrings they made for Of A Kind….but wish I could get a ring like the one second from the top haha. I hadn’t seen these pieces before. I agree that an ‘alternative’ engagement ring is the way to go. Mine is very simple but my husband made it and it’s perfectly my taste.

It had been a while since I shopped the always glamorous selection of jewelry at Honeybee Collection, but when I popped over to their online shop the other day I was instantly reminded of how amazing their pieces are – and how I need to be visiting more often! I want every single one of […]

Those bon bon earrings are really cute! Funny enough my husband has a pair of cufflinks that really resemble the black ones, with the diamond in the center. I would love a pair!

I could take anything (and everything!) that your profiled, but especially one of those initial necklaces with the first letter of my daughter’s name. I’ve been wanting one for awhile and that one looks divine. May have to send my husband a hint for the holidays 🙂 Thanks for letting us know about this fab site!

I’m totally infatuated with this subtle hit of glamour. Little piece, big impact. The kind of accessory that doesn’t shout at you … but when you notice it? Woah. Nope, I’m not talking about the pile of bracelets (*yawn*). I’m definitely referring to that fabulous gold fingernail ring. Totally unique. You can get your own […]

YAWN – I am so over the arm party (and I never even participated in the trend)… Loving this nail ring as much as you are!

Ok whoever came up with the single finger nail ring, is a genius. Absolutely love it, I just found my next random purchase.

badass is right ladies. molly, i’m glad i’m not the only one who’s feeling really over the arm candy. seen it one to many times. it’s super fun, but not nearly as original.

TOTALLY unique! I want one…i wonder how husband will feel to see me with a gold fingernail ring…he probably won’t even notice haha!

I definitely have participated in the pile of bracelet trend – for about 3 years now. I can’t stand that people are piling bracelets on because its a trend. Every single one has a story behind it (from an australian I met when travelling, my service in kenya, graduation, etc) and thats why I wear them, for the memories. So yes *yawn* I am over the trend but I also intend to keep wearing mine.
