Meghan I love that you chose Method–unlike lots of products that contain known carcinogens yet are supposedly supporting breast cancer ‘awareness’ (and how does a pink handgun make you more aware of breast cancer risks and prevention anyway!?), Method’s ingredients are typically pretty good. Christine Poland Cannot for the life of me understand why you posted a picture of the birthday girl with a cigarette in her hand. Come on….that was totally not necessary. As far as I’m concerned, it ruined the picture. That’s really the only thing I noticed. Was it supposed to make her look cool or more mature? It did neither. Please consider very carefully what you post. You do a great job but it only takes one thing to ruin lots of work.
Cassandra LaValle Post author i’m sorry – but i loved the image. i wasn’t trying to condone smoking, as i’ve mentioned nearly EVERY time i post an image with a cigarette or a fur or anything that might possibly offend someone. i think we’re all past the point of thinking that someone posting an image with someone smoking is somehow possibly trying to convey that it’s cool? i can’t stand it, don’t want it around me, and am certainly not trying to tell people to do it. it just happened to be in the photo – as a part of an editorial where i’m sure it somehow added to the ‘image’ that THEY were trying to sell. i just liked the balloons, the hair, the dress. i’m sorry that it somehow ruined it for you.
