TO MARKET :: 220 ELM

For years now I’ve been attending High Point Market (what we like to call fashion week for furniture) and I’m sure many of you have seen me post my recaps on the blog before. Well, last time around, I finally spent some time in 220Elm – a building that houses showrooms that overall offer some […]

    Thanks for sharing – love the look of Huppe in particular. Had planned to do spring Market this year but the flights were outrageous. For the price I could go to Paris to shop the flea markets (not a bad idea really, want to go?). Maybe I’ll make it to HP for fall, since I won’t be honeymooning this year ;)

    I’m heading to the market for the first time ever since I live in NC now (moved over from Seattle last summer). Would love to hear your recommendations – I’m such a newbie, I really have no idea what to expect!!

      Hey Kimberly – happy to give you some help! Definitely hit up Interhall and the Suites at Market Square/Market Square Tower. You’ll find the Antique and Design center there too, which is fantastic for vintage stuff. IHFC is a bit overwhelming, but worth hunting through (I always check out , and definitely head to Currey & Co and say hi to Bethanne! (They always have great food, drink and music!). The website for market also has some great info on it for newbies! https://www.highpointmarket.org/first-time-to-market

HIGH POINT :: LOVELY AT LEXINGTON

lexington aquarius collection

Before my last trip to High Point, I’ll admit that I didn’t know much about Lexington and their brands. All that changed, however, when a few of us got the grand tour of their space in October! First up is their Aquarius collection… Modern and colorful, many of my favorite pieces were found here, including […]

    Of all the years I’ve been going to High Point Market, I don’t think I’ve ever been in the Lexington Showroom. It’s definitely on my list for this spring. I love the narrow coffee table!

HIGH POINT :: HICKORY CHAIR + PEARSON

hickory chair aspen style

Two of my favorite showrooms to visit when I’m in High Point are Hickory Chair and Pearson. This year, HC was a little different with the introduction of a new creative director. (Their previous one and quite possibly one of my most favorite people – Ron Fiore – left HC for Bernhardt, which explains some of […]

HIGH POINT :: C.R. LAINE + BERNHARDT

C.R. Laine - coco+kelley room

Yes, it was weeks ago, but High Point is still on my mind these days as I start to think about trends for the upcoming new year. In the past, I’ve led you through the showroom tours with me pointing out every little piece to love, but this year, I’m going to use my editor […]

    Cassandra, Great post! I kinda felt badly chosing the coco & kelly inspriation for one of my style pics but I loved it so much I couldn’t help myself! I have to admit, the chair you chose was a close second! The showroom was fabulous! Holly did an incredible job! I really am sad I didn’t get to see your beautiful face in person!

    I love seeing your picks and reading your thoughts via coco+kelley, Cassandra. Such a graceful, authentic viewpoint, and I enjoy it.

    Was nice visiting with you in High Point, and great fun to see Bernhardt among your picks here.

    Happy November!

    You are an inspiration, fearless and a favorite! Thanks for including Bernhardt in your Blog. I like that we are featured with my new friend Holly Blalock. She’s fearless, too. Take Care…….Ron

OFF AND RUNNING (TO HIGH POINT!)

greenlaces.emersonfry

As a seasoned High Point Market-goer I can tell you two things about market. 1) ALWAYS wear your flats. and 2) Style Spotters are the coolest. If you haven’t heard about this group before, you’re about to get a major dose of it now, because this year, I’ll be one! Think of us as street […]
