HOLIDAY OUTFITTING :: BANISH THE BLACK

coco+kelley new years eve outfitting

The few times that I’ve gotten all dolled up for New Year’s Eve, it’s always been black black black. It’s classy, it’s sophisticated, it’s easy…and I’m tired of it. So this year, I’ve got a little number that packs some serious punch… Forget pretty – I want edgy. Give me some serious shoulders and hip-hugging [...]

Stunning! Like Serena Van der Woodsen stunning. Out of the (black) box, but still classy with a bit of edge.

Do we get a hair tutorial, too? B/c I’m loving that look but have no clue how to pull it off.

That last photo of you is fabulous!
I too have tired of the little black dress. For my holiday party this year I wore a gold dress and it was a huge hit, quite the venture for me. but I look forward to more adventurous dress wearing in the future. Thanks for the links to purchase new dresses.

Cassandra, you look absolutely stunning in that cool dress! And you’re absolutely right! I will wear a bronze colored dress full with sequins. You can’t glitter too much on New Year’s Eve, right? ;-) Have a great and sparkling 2013!!

SUGAR + SPICE HOLIDAY PALETTE

method sugar and spice holiday scents

Last year, as I packed up an all black and white tree, I’m pretty sure I remember saying ‘next Christmas, I’m doing pink and red for the holidays‘. Apparently I completely forgot this promise when designing my green and teal tree this year, but I swear, this time, for reals… next year, this palette is [...]

I love the aqua and red…if I ever get married in a wintery wedding I want that color scheme. Your not crazy, I stock up on holiday stuff all the time when Bath & Body works has their semi-annual sale right after Xmas! =)

Just want to say thanks for all the holiday posts! I’ve had a tough time getting into the spirit this year for some reason, but love that I can count on this blog to bring a little holiday (holladay?) cheer every morning! Thank you!

HOLI-DIY: CORK COASTERS!

coco+kelley cork coaster DIY

There’s something about the holidays that brings out my crafty side – whether it’s in the kitchen or wrapping presents, I’m much more likely to get into some hands on projects around the house, and I have to say… I love it! So, I was really excited to host a little DIY event at Anthropologie [...]

    Very fun!
I am always doing crafts at the holidays. This year I have crafty weekends, for my friends to come over any time and I have the living room all set up. It’s fun, we chat, drink wine and make fun DIY projects
