It is Salted Caramel Syrup from Monin, and it is out of this world. You taste the sea salt, and I think more of quickly caramelizing vegetables, but yesterday, I was so eager, I cut an appled and dribbled a little syrup over it. I felt one, holy and indivisible.

Check anything grabs my attention like nothing else! It is so classic yet can work so modern. ironically I find that most of my clients are not in love with it. So when I find a client who wants to use check its as if I have met my soul mate:) I am also a nursery designer in LA and nurseries and children’s rooms tend to lend themselves well to checks!
