A FRESH EASTER TABLETOP WITH A MARBLE + TRELLIS MOTIF

a fresh and modern easter tabletop setting from coco kelley

If there’s one thing an Easter tabletop should be, it’s light, and full of flowers. For us Easter is really a celebration of spring, and for that reason, this fresh tabletop works perfectly with its mix of a traditional trellis pattern with modern marble, accented by those fresh white hyacinths that we showed you how to […]

Your plating is seriously goals, the style of it all fits my taste of style perfectly. I would love to have you style my future dining room.

I have this blog where I post original stories written by me. My dream is to become a published writer and this blog is my way of practising my skills before finally producing something great. http://www.hardstories.net/

You can’t go wrong with marble- A lovely table set up for sure
I like your comment about not making it too literal….like beach houses are always too literal with shells. My guess is that folks in Paris don’t have Eiffel Towers on their coffee table.

Very pretty! I like a tablecloth, though, for dinner parties because it absorbs some of the sound. At multiple-Michelin-starred restaurants, they even put a pad under the tablecloth, to further hush the clinking and clanking.

HOUSE TOUR :: REFINED + RUSTIC IN HOLLYWOOD

West-Hollywood-spec-house-by-Leigh-Herzig-photograph-by-Laure-Joliet-Remodelista-35

Now that our dining room makeover is (somewhat) complete, I’ve started filing away inspiration for the rest of the house. On the top of my list? Leigh Herzig‘s West Hollywood home First off – I love California architecture like this, it reminds me of growing up in LA, so when I saw the outside of […]

GOING TROPICAL IN BLACK + WHITE

MOODBOARD-Paradise-is-Here-3

Watch out banana leaf and pineapple prints. This year’s tropicals are getting a sophisticated twist in black and white, and frankly – I couldn’t be happier. It’s no secret that I love a more beachy vibe, but when it comes to my home and my wardrobe, I can’t deny my neutral inclinations, making this style […]

ROOM OF THE WEEK 4.3

With so much brick in my new place, I’ve inevitably stumbled black into my comfort zone of a very black and white palette in planning the decor, so this dining room by Brooke Harris had me at hello… The key to this look (for me, anyways) is the addition of wood, plants, and inviting textures […]

I think that’s the Robert Abbey “Bling” pendant light and it comes in three sizes – you can find it on ylighting.com, I tried to copy the link but it was huge

ROOM OF THE WEEK :: 11.8

Continuing on yesterday’s obsession with modern design, I bring you a space that is … and isn’t. The stunning Spanish tiles in this home make the space. But that sofa is a pretty close second. The antique design done in black leather is such a gorgeous contrast of new and old that I dare say it’s downright […]

A very stylish room, although I agree that maybe an all white rug may add a touch of warmth, the floor is amazing but a tad cold for a lounge. I don’t mind that all the seating is black as there’s enough gold/yellow to lift the colour and it looks consistent and chic, it may look a bit busy if another colour was thrown in.
