ROOM OF THE WEEK 11.8
This gorgeous space has been haunting me on Pinterest – every time I see it I fall in love all over again! Which is why it absolutely deserves a Room of the Week title, and a full tour! I think by this point we can safely say that I’m a traditional glamourist at heart when [...]

Cassandra- I love, love, love this space (as I pin each photo). It might be a guy thing. I swear there must be something in the water in Spain, because this is the second Spanish designers I’ve come across with an incredible design aesthetic. Thanks for introducing me to Pablo Paniagua.
Do you know the manufacturer of the rug? Thanks!
You’re right about the overstyling, it definitely needs a little breathing room throughout. Wow to that ceiling height, those windows and that raspberry couch!
I love this room, I blogged about it a couple weeks ago. I think I mainly love color palette. I definitely agree it could use some paring down in the accessories department but I forgive it since I love the rug so much.
oh wow, the color of that couch is incredible!
I count eleven tables and not one with enough room to comfortably host a cocktail! Definitely over styled. That said, I love the detail of the yellow back on some of the neutral pillows.
YUM!
Wow, absolutely stunning.
I agree. The “idea” of the room is great, the unusual sofa, the pops of plum and raspberry but the execution is way overdone.
I think this space is really beautiful — especially the colors. But my eye is going every which way, trying to find something to focus on! I do think a little simplifying could go a long way in this space as it seems just a tad overdone. Still, lots of gorgeous elements goin’ on in here!
I think I could handle the room – I’m just not sure everything would ever get back or stay in it’s place though. It’d be that room I just go stand in to feel fantastic.
Memoirs & Mochas
Since I’m “all about curves” (arches, spheres, etc.) the geometrics give me pause…you could do “wonders” with it though…. franki
Loving all the geometry & the symmetry of the space. And yes, the architectural details doesn’t hurt at all!
Pretty sure I’d chuck out everything in front of the windows and sit in that raspberry sofa staring at the ocean all day.
The balance, scale and contrast are all perfect. Now it will haunt me, too, Cassandra! Thanks for sharing.
