Ok…that is simply fabulous! I am so inspired to transform my console table (a boring brown … I’m so over brown!) into our bar “cart” as well actually. Love, Love, Love. Great work!

Well, this post makes it look so easy…

I have always wanted to re-do a piece of furniture with an update to color but have yet to be brave enough. Perhaps it is time to jump in and try.

I love your new little bar!
I’m so into green at the moment! By you painting it has turned a plain, simple, run-of-the-mill, brown piece of furniture into something that looks unique, fun and very much a designer statement piece of furniture!
    Love it!

IN THE DETAILS :: WHERE TO PUT THAT BAR…

in the details coco+kelley bar entertaining4

When I entertain guests in my teensy apartment, space is at a premium. So, I thought it would be fun to start brainstorming some creative ways to move things around for holiday parties this year, and these bars really got me thinkin’… In small areas, its important to recognize an under utilized space in the […]

I recently repurposed a downstairs bedroom as a den in my tiny cape in Portland, OR and I converted the bedroom closet into a wet bar. it is a hit at parties and I love having a space that is separate from my kitchen so that when guests are over I can direct them towards the bar area. Would love to post a pic but not sure how! C

Great post! I am absolutely infatuated with bar carts. I have an antique pine armoire that is in my garage and I have been thinking about adding shelves and turning it into a bar for my living room.

Before my grandfather passed away in the early 90′s he built me a hutch. This may kill some people, but the hutch was too country for my taste so I cut off the scroll work, painted it black and turned it into my liquor cabinet! I keep it in my dining room stocked with goodies. My husband is usually on drink duty and it keeps him out of the kitchen during my last minute prep work. I love it!

I love that closet idea too! So inventive! And a mirror or picture propped in the back of the closet would be so fun!

Love this inspiration! I definitely want to go out and buy a bar cart and mirror now! I typically use the counter in my open kitchen, but I ore the idea of a central, designated area!

ROOM OF THE WEEK 3.18

4441631823_709335b9cc_o

It’s been a very long and very busy week darlings…I think a week like that calls for a room like this! While I have a lovely little bar at home, what I wouldn’t give for an entire area dedicated to entertaining (myself and others!). It’s swanky and chic, and I love that it’s attached to […]

It's ok…I'm obsessed with that swinging bubble chair myself. Every time I see one in a space, It makes me want one for my house even more! So frivolous but so much fun!

How darling! I love the bit of yellow wallpaper peeking out on the left, and the play of geometric shapes between that and the black and white windowshade in the back.

I think the room is gorgeous, but I cant figure out what the heck these sheep are for or are supposed to mean? I will just file the sheep thing into the category "over my head."

Who could possibly hate a sheep like that? Wonder what else you might see after a few drinks from that bar!!

A bar like that is pretty much my dream! I don't think I would be too bothered about what the other rooms looked like if I had that beauty to stand behind.

I'm kind of in love with that sheep and that pretty turquoise chair. I feel like the sheep could be used as a whimsical stool/foot rest if it's sturdy enough. Who makes them?

I've been obsessed with sheep as decoration for some time now until I recently saw a pig. I think the possibilities are quite open…

Hate you for loving the sheep? LOVE you for loving the sheep. All I want in my life is a sheep chair. I wonder if I could register for one for my wedding? Guests would think I have legit lost it.

Champagne, Please.

I could SO use one of these right now…That is… a fully stocked bar, a little party to dress up for, and definitely that bottle of champagne. Some pink walls and a giant clam shell wouldn’t hurt either… By the way… have you seen the fantastic bar renovation over at Eddie Ross? It might be […]
