Loved the pun, intended or not, about finding the elephant at a "swamp" meet. Can she come and fix that meal for me to eat out on my deck?!

how lucky to inherit that sofa!! it would be such a project to find such a thing…it is a great example of working with what you have to make something spectacular! What I really want to know though is where the red cut glass wine glasses came from? Love those!!

Style (E)scapes: Top Ten Essentials from CreateGirl!

Julieann Covino over at CreateGirl is one of my most favorite people… and I’ve never even met her! It must be our love of Red Sox baseball and interiors that unites us. Either way, I’ve been wanting to have her over to c+k for a while now, and I was so happy when she sent [...]

I'm fond of those star lights! The other day I was thinking I should string lights on my balcony but didn't want to deal with an extension cord and finding an outlet. Perfect!

    I love outdoor entertaining…I only wish I didn't live in a state where it was 95* at 7pm. :(

I like the cooler from NapaStyle. I have a rolling cooler cart that is aluminum with a marble base and I love it. I got it at Costco, but it looks similar to the one that is always in Frontgate. Best purchase we ever made for our deck/parties.

Usually, the first place to redecorate when moving into a new home is not your patio, but I suppose I never really do anything according to the rules, and this space was no exception! While I’m still waiting to move my entire wardrobe and office into the boy’s place (or “our” place as he keeps [...]

Just brilliant! My fave part–other than all the color–is the idea of using a beach mat to create a seating area. Genius!
