CREATIVE WINTER GREETINGS

Raise your hand if you totally missed the boat on mailing holiday cards this year? (Umm, me). I managed to bust out a few cards to my nearest and dearest at the very last minute, but totally failed at the usual mass mailing to my larger group of friends, fellow bloggers and favorite people I’ve worked with […]

Very cute! I print out a group picture of my running team and send those out at Christmas. People rarely print photos anymore, so it’s always appreciated. But that’s about all I do for Christmas cards. But I do send snail mail during Lent. It’s my daily sacrifice; I give up a few minutes of my day to send a quick hello and mention to family or friends how meaningful they are to me.

This overachiever ran out of stamps at 7 Christmas cards. Seven! These pretty little wonders would certainly make up for my lack of postal holiday cheer. Lovely find, Cassandra!

GIVEAWAY! $100 FOR HOLIDAY CARDS AT TINY PRINTS

6352690342_1ac169e79c

Last year the holidays really snuck up on me (as in, nobody even got a Christmas card) so this year I’ve been determined not to let that last minute shopping, card sending, party throwing and cookie baking wait until the week before Christmas. Thank goodness for Tiny Prints. With a list a mile long of […]

    BOYCOTT AMERICAN WOMEN
Why American men should boycott American women

    http://boycottamericanwomen.blogspot.com/

I am an American man, and I have decided to boycott American women. In a nutshell, American women are the most likely to cheat on you, to divorce you, to get fat, to steal half of your money in the divorce courts, don’t know how to cook or clean, don’t want to have children, etc. Therefore, what intelligent man would want to get involved with American women?

American women are generally immature, selfish, extremely arrogant and self-centered, mentally unstable, irresponsible, and highly unchaste. The behavior of most American women is utterly disgusting, to say the least.

This blog is my attempt to explain why I feel American women are inferior to foreign women (non-American women), and why American men should boycott American women, and date/marry only foreign (non-American) women.

    BOYCOTT AMERICAN WOMEN!

WEST COAST IS THE BEST COAST?

5803411806_11a5dd73fc

I was very happy to spend a few sunny evenings this weekend with my girl Kelley, who is officially making her move to the NYC in a matter of weeks (we’ll miss her so much!). Which begs the question…Which coast is the best coast? I’m a born (in Santa Monica) and raised (in Seattle) west […]

Wow.. hard question! Especially for me, since I live in canada! :-) But when it comes to Canada, I must say that I LOVE the west coast. I live in the east now and I miss Vancouver so much. It’s more peaceful, life is more fun and relaxed. Everything is more on the go in the east and it’s colder also.
Although I love our lobster here! :-)

Wishing you a very blessed week!

I am an East Coast girl anxiously preparing to move to the West Coast this fall. I live in Boston and love this city with all my heart but NEED to see what all the hype is about over there.

I think the answer to this question depends on where you are now. Similarly to how girls with curly hair wish they had straight and girls with straight hair would do anything for a few curls. You always desire what you can’t have (or where you don’t live) ;)

I might not have a fair place to judge from – I’ve never been farther east than Chicago. But I love Seattle, even the rain. I feel completely at home here. I would like to visit NYC and Maine though. Maine has always sounded nice.

I live on the West Coast, (and love places like SF, Montecito, Vancouver, and Seattle) was born in the South, and raised in the Midwest…but I think my heart will always belong to NYC. There’s something about the energy in the air there that you just cannot find anywhere else.

I’ve lived in the “Fourth” coast area (Texas — yes, we have a coast too!) for eons. Love NYC and so many East Coast areas. But I’ve dreamed of being a California girl since third grade. Love Carmel and Monterey Bay, Newport Beach and all the sunny California beaches. I’d give up square footage to live in a quaint bungalow or cottage on the West Coast any day — as long as someone else is paying for it. Can’t beat the cost of living and taxes here on the Third Coast.

Wow, this is a question I’ve been asking myself for a few months now. I’m an East Coast girl born and raised–my whole life is here–but lately I have been struggling with the itch to move West (although, it has waned a bit now that the weather in New York is getting warmer). I admit that I have the best of both worlds where I am situated on Long Island…a short drive to the east and I am lounging on the beaches of the Hamptons, a train ride to the west and I am taking in the sights and sounds of the West Village. Even though I’m pretty content at the moment, I still can’t help but think that the second I hear another one of those weather reports calling for 36″ of snow I’m going to pack my bags and move it on down to SoCal.

    Reply
  13. Lindsey

I love these prints! I’m from the DC area but went to college in SoCal and while I had sort of planned the move to CA to be a permanent one, once I was there I realized I was too much of an east coaster for Orange County! While I’ll always have a soft spot for CA, I’m now back in DC with a new appreciation for seasons and all things east coast!

I was born and raised in Seattle and currently live in Philadelphia – I love the east coast but am so so thankful to have grown up with a mountain view, an ocean view and a forest view. I love the energy I get from the East Coast and the perspective I get when I go back West. I’m so excited to explore the South and Mid-West in the coming years as well as spend more time in those lovely western states.
