DRESSING FOR THE HOLIDAYS…

coco+kelley christmas decor inspiration

Now, before you get too excited, this post has nothing to do with your wardrobe and everything to do with my tree… (although we’ve got one of those wardrobe posts coming soon too!). Last week when I pulled all my decorations out of hiding, I took a look at what I had done for the [...]

I always go for color during the holidays. My favorite colors to wear during christmas are maroon, kelly greens, neon greens.. etc. I like to play up red + green without wearing the classic red and green christmas colors. Have a wonderful day and happy blogging!

That is so funny, I’m doing the same colors on my kitchen tree. I will add varied hues of copper to mine. Good luck with yours. I just love the holidays

JUST AROUND THE CORNER…

6161999812_b85c5ce4db_o

Good morning sunshine…I don’t know about you, but the weekend weather around here certainly felt like fall was just around the corner. There was a chill in the morning air, and I felt a sudden urge to start nesting, planning dinner parties and spend lazy mornings in bed under the blankets. While I’m thankful for [...]

Yes, I’m finally ready. It was hard to say goodbye to summer, but I’m already enjoying the leaves changing its colors.. :-)

    Happy autumn to you!

    Wishing you a blessed week!

Beautiful photos, especially the one with the table.. and oh well I think I could live in that bed. Looks so comfy, dreamy, perfect.
Well, to be honest my favorite season is summer, but I’m always happy when autumn pops up. The change of weather is much bigger than, let’s say, winter to spring. And I am actually looking forward to cold, rainy days in which you can bundle up in cozy clothes, walk around with umbrellas and spend entire days in the comfort of your home. Have a great week!

    Love, Lisa

I certainly am. Though since LA doesn’t have a fall, I’m waiting for our winter monsoon season when it’s cold and rainy and I’m forced to next. Come January when it’s frigid everywhere else, I’ll be thankful for the warmer temps in my new city… now? all I want is to walk down my street and see red, orange and yellow leaves!

KEEP IT LOOSE… KEEP IT LIGHT…

5686344952_0c8f9a91f1_o

In an attempt to hold onto the little bit of peace I felt after a relaxing long weekend, I’m taking deep breaths and clearing space in my home, my mind, my life… everything… I’m taking moments to lay in the sun (if only briefly), to allow myself to dream (just a little), and to prioritize [...]

I’m enjoying spending time with my really inspirational and supportive friends, and I want to choose my friends based on those relationships. Isn’t that a great feeling?! It’s important to be that for others too though, maybe those that aren’t quite as giving, maybe we can be giving to.

PERFECT PAIRS…

I absolutely fell in love with this entire editorial from Frederic Pinet over the weekend, and had to pair a few selections with some equally gorgeous interiors for a dose of spring to summer inspiration…Sunshine may be fairly non-existent in Seattle, but flowers? Those we have plenty of. And nothing enhances their impact like a [...]

OLD IS NEW (AND FRESH!)

The return of retro styling is bound to have all sort of impacts on trends these days (for better or worse), but one I can I can absolutely deal with is a resurfacing of palettes like this… From Rachel Zoe’s current Missoni pillows to Gio Ponti’s vintage geometric influences – old is new again.*images: grace [...]

CHAMPAGNE WISHES + WINTER DREAMS

Winter is not going anywhere, darlings. The cool days, freezing rain, and piles of snow are here to stay for a bit, so let’s just embrace it a little, shall we?The stark contrast of dark wood and white, and pieces that reflect the cool light. Gilding, crystal, mirrors, and fabrics with sheen… I suppose winter [...]

AHhhhhh….you did it! I've been thinking what sort of screen I wanted to put beside my desk, (which is located in my living room)to cover all my madness. I have old shutters and doors from junk stores…didn't quite feel right. I'm going to get some mirrors acid washed, then put simple frames and hinges and call it a day! Lovely!! Thank you, thank you!!! I've done it before and it costs about $200, start to finish. Excellent!
