VALENTINE’S COCKTAIL :: THE PINK LADY

party favor gift back DIY | coco+kelley

In typical coco+kelley fashion, we can’t properly celebrate a “holiday” without a cocktail. Regardless of your relationship status or views on Valentine’s Day, I personally think it’s a great excuse to get together with friends and celebrate love. Not in the sappy, romantic sort of way… but in a fun, ‘I’m thankful you’re in my life – cheers […]

THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS TABLETOP!

twelve days of christmas tabletop setting by coco+kelley10

For the past two years now, I’ve put a lot of thought into the holiday tabletops that we create to inspire your own. Two years ago, I was inspired by our all-white studio to do something that felt sophisticated, and twinkling – our Celestial Tabletop. Then last year, we were all about color and playful […]

I’m absolutely swooning over here! This has got to be one of my favorite tablescapes; the attention to detail without being overwhelmed by too many details is perfection. And the colors and textures are spot on.

Absolutely love it! Thank you so much for designing such a stunning setting for my placecards to “frolic” upon.

WHAT’S YOUR CHRISTMAS DECORATING STYLE?

traditional mantle styling via wit and delight

This holiday season on coco+kelley has seen quite a variety of ideas for styling your own home – from non-traditional color palettes and mantels , to avant garde bar scenes and classic winter bedding. A little bit of something for everyone, which is what we like to do around here to keep you on your toes! But, […]

I love all these minimalist styles that fashion bloggers do. But when it comes to our Christmas decoration I always buy everything in red, gold and full with glitter. Oh, my decoration is a cliché but we need cliches on Holidays.

That tree stand is insane cool! I have some vintage pieces from my grandma plus some modern items (West Elm, CB2, here and there) I have a couple modern organic wreaths that I rotate each year. I live in a small condo, so I can’t get too out of control. Holidays generally make us think of our childhood and if it was good (mine was) we want to recreate it a bit with our own twist.
I love that your boyfriend HAS Christmas decorations…..I put a Charlie Brown Tree on my boyfriends table and that is it : (

I have kind of a midcentury quirky-glam thing going on. Silver tree with pink and gold vintage ornaments, lots of rainbow fairy lights, giant-sequin-covered stockings, tiny multi-colored bottlebrush trees, the Christmas Story leg lamp, and some fun Christmas themed typography art. I also have a hilarious dancing Santa music box that always makes an appearance.

My boyfriend decorated so i was completely off the hook, to the point where he was rearranging presents under the tree last night so they looked aesthetically pleasing, that man. I always love a nice garland on the fireplace mantel that is strung with white lights. White lights i love the most, its sophisticated but still evokes the holiday cheer.

A WHIMSICAL WONDERLAND TABLETOP

a-whimsical-wonderland-table-coco-kelley4

It’s funny how holidays can evoke a certain mood from year to year. Last Christmas, I was in the mood for sophisticated, wintery glamour with a frosty, table of white, burgundy and gold. But this year? I’m all about joy in the form of color with this Christmas tabletop inspiration we created around these adorable bottle-brush trees in shades […]

I was just admiring those trees at Anthro! What a gorgeous table setting. There was a tutorial over on Beautiful Mess this week to DIY bottle brush trees. It was pretty cute…

Wow. Those are some pricey trees. There are a couple hundred dollars worth on that table. Seems like a terrible waste of money.

MY THANKSGIVING TABLE INSPIRATION…

winter-hygge-dinner-scout-blog-belathee-photography-aran-goyoaga-jenn-elliott-blake

Two things have providing inspiration for a simple, organic Thanksgiving table this year – and if you follow me on instagram, then you already know what one of them is! These bunches of cotton branches. And if you’ve been reading the blog, then you might recognize the other one from my November moodboard – black and white buffalo plaid. […]

What a beautiful table setting! Lovely color combination, simple and stylish. Perfect timing, too. I recently bought some cotton branches and just didn’t know what to do with them. You gave me perfect inspiration. Thank you!

    With Love, Monika
