EASTER. THE REMIX.

easter remix tabletop coco+kelley1

Last week I let you in on the inspiration behind a fun little Easter tabletop we put together in the new office, and today, I’m sharing! I wanted to punk out pastels, and breathe new life into traditional china. Like Sofia Coppola’s version of Marie Antoinette, nothing was to girly or whimsical for this setting… [...]

Cassandra – this is seriously FANTASTIC. The balloons, the transferware with those dessert plates tipped in gold (!!^*&$#($(#). Love. Now I wish I were hosting Easter brunch!! So so pretty!

Everything about this is awesome. You really hit the ball out of the park with this one. Love the color palette and love the mixing of matching of the dinner plates. Thanks for the amazing inspiration, I might be using a couple of ideas for my Easter Brunch this weekend.

I would love to try this for my daughters 16th birthday. Since we will be away in Europe, I was considering having a celebration dinner with our closest friends for an intimate dinner. Thanks for the fab idea.

Hi, everyone! It’s Kelly from Design Crush popping in while Cassandra is off being adventurous in Africa. I’m here to chat a little about Valentine’s Day – it’s right around the corner, you know. I have to say, Valentine’s Day is about as personal as a holiday can get. Whether you’re reminding your sweetheart how much they [...]

MODERN MEXICANA :: THE TABLETOP

coco+kelley modern mexicana 1

While most of us tend to spend Valentine’s Day with our one and only (or, you know, a box of chocolates), I think it makes things way more fun to spend an evening with all the people we adore, right? (You can go make out with your sweetie later. Nobody wants to see that at the dinner [...]

I love the idea of this! What better way to show the people you care about that they are important to you even on the most “couple specific” day of the year.

I would give my left pinky if I could set a table that nicely! You don’t really need your left pinky, do you?

I LOVE this whole thing. I think celebrating Valentine’s day with all of the people you love is definitely the way to go – and who doesn’t love Mexican food? Are you going to share recipes for some of the things you mentioned? The table setting is really fantastic. The Anthro hand towels work perfectly as placemats.

I absolutely love Glassybabies and they really give the table that special V-day punch here. And what shows love and gratitude like yummy mexican food? Seriously.

I am in love with this. It makes me miss you & sharing a dinner table with my girls. I’m sure you’ll start the party off with some glamorous margaritas. Lots of love.

Mexican Valentine’s dinner, I like it! I love the paper chandelier, it is just so pretty and festive. Would love to do one like that outside this summer. And love the runners too, very cute. And those red rimmed glasses are great.

Now what about that dessert? ;)

hi leslie! the red on is ‘love’ (so appropriate, right?) and the white ones are a mix of pearl, hope and cream (i believe). it made me want to add a ton of white ones to my small but growing collection!

This refreshing, elegant table setting proves there more to Mexican style than sombrero chip bowls and garish colors. I’d love to know where you got your lovely dress!

IN THIS MOMENT…

poster_waste_time

I woke up in an introspective mood this morning,  as I’m sure did many of you. It’s always a bit of a shock to sit back and look at the entire year that’s passed us by, isn’t it? Well… not really passed us. More like spun us ’round until we’re completely dizzy and then thrown [...]

You may remember a few weeks back my little feature on Glitter Guide where we talked about how to throw a party in a small space (ie, my apartment!) and we featured a fun little metallic fringe garland setup above the bar. The fab fringe also made an appearance in yesterday’s New Year’s Eve outfitting [...]

COCKTAILS AT SIX :: THE MERRY MOCHA

the merry mocha coco+kelley

This morning I woke up to a dusting snow on the ground and a little more Christmas spirit in my heart. So, I’ve reserved the afternoon for gift-wrapping, holiday card writing, and this little bit of holiday cheer that has become my new favorite cozy cocktail… I hardly ever indulge in things like mochas and [...]

This does look delicious. At first I thought it said the MERCY mocha.. And I was thinking this was headed in a more depressing direction!!!! However, I must admit, that if it was the mercy mocha, I am sure this recipe would go a long way in cheering someone up :)
