the creamer and sugar holder would be perfect for my husband to be put next to his precious coffee pot and would be great for my green tea and baking recipes with my son. i’ve always wanted a pitcher and since i just bought a juicer and usually depend on making just a cups worth, i could put the rest of it in an actual pitcher.
the shelf would be great in our living room since we have no bookshelves and the books we do have are placed under our magazine rack with really no place to go.
the glass vases would be perfect since my husband bought me flowers for mother’s day and had to put them in a recyclable coffee mug. we have zero vases because they’re considered not an necessary expense, but those would look amazing on our kitchen table, our coffee tables and office.

It’s hard to describe but in effect, both the doors and the back of the cabinets are glass so you can see straight thru. Brandon Smith So Steve would probably kick me in the tush if he found out that I was even commenting on this post quite simply because I’ve got the same addiction. With the photo shoots I’ve done and a my in-ability to keep cash in my pocket at flea markets, I’ve got a number of jam packed cabinets of dishes and glassware.

My french press would find a new home on the floating shelf along with the cream sugar holder and a jar filled withStumptown coffee beans. One tea towel hung nicely on rack the oven door, and the other laid flat underneath the pitcher filled with white peonies in the center of the kitchen table.

I am an art major, and therefor have a giant collection of photographs and paintings from all over that I am looking for creative ways to store. Asia Oh! Where to start?! I’d place the vases in the corner of the ledge behind the sink that looks into our playroom. There’s a big sliding window between the two rooms with lots of light. The light refaction from the vases would be incredible.
The pitcher would be used for fresh cut flowers, from the farmers market, on our table (very big and rustic) and I’d place one of the tea towels under it for a little texture.
The sugar and creamer holders on bamboo tray would sit on counter next to the coffee maker (it needs a little company). The other tea towel would be used under the set when it’s on the ottoman, in the living room, for company to use after brunches.
The floating shelf would go in a little nook on our main floor, by our stairs that needs *something*, but floor space needs to stay clear (it’s been deemed our tots’ fire truck parking lot). It’s been a hard spot to fill, but I think that shelf would be perfect.

null We are just finishing up a 2 year renovation of a 1974 house. My favorite part is the atrium in the middle of the home, right off the master bedroom. It’s where I plan to have my morning coffee. null Wow. decisions decisions. I love love love the 3 glass vases and actually the colors would work perfectly in my bathroom. I’d mount the floating self in my bathroom and then add the 3 vases there. Maybe even picking up a flower such as a tulip for each at a local farmers market. Always nice to have pleasant surroundings when you get ready in the morning.
As for the cream and sugar holders those have to go on my small natural wood island. I make my espresso every morning so they need to be accessible.
Now all I need is a juicer so I can put fresh OJ in the pitcher! Until then I’ll just add cucumber to water and set on my counter for a spa experience at home.

Finsta I love these west elm goodies! I moved into my fiancé’s home (now our home:)) this year and it still needs some feminine touches, as well as, items that are for both of us!. The sugar and milk holder has the perfect spot next to my white bowl size coffee mugs in my open china cabinet.
The vintage looking vases, which are my favorite, would be perfect in my bathroom on the shelf next to our window holding flowers. Also, I have been collecting a bunch of colorful glass vases for the flowers used in the center pieces for my wedding reception at an Apple orchard, so these would be a great addition!

I’ve been saving for over a year and I managed to snag tickets to the Kentucky Derby, an event she’s been dreaming about attending since she was little. Everyone will be decked out in their Sunday best but, wish as I may, I’m just NOT a hat person. That headband would allow me feel youthful and participatory in the fashion headgear Olympics that is Churchill Downs while also letting me stand out from the hatted crowd. Favorite summer memory: Fourth of July vacation with my boyfriend and family at our grandparent’s mountain house. The house is in a small, lake communitiy in northwestern PA, and we got to watch my younger siblings take part in the the quaint Fourth of July parade they hold each year along Main Street, which is no more than two blocks long and is crowded with all the summer residents. Maybe it was the old houses and the small town feel, but it was all very nostalgic.

My favorite summer memory would have to be sitting on the beach in Brigantine with me mother – enjoying the cool breeze, warm sand under my toes, and my September issue of Vogue, when this bold seagull swooped down and took a bite out of my sandwich I was holding in my hand eating. My mom did not even have time to warn me. I heard her holler but it was too late! It was funny. I was advertising the sandwich way to much for the seagull I guess, he couldn’t resist.
Corporate life means hardly any vacatons during the summer (no one warned me of this in college!). Still, when my dream of treating my mom to a weekend in Savannah fell through, I booked a flight to surprise her for her birthday instead. Yes, it may have been only 23 hours total but those 23 hours were full of laughter, scouring the farmer’s market, linking elbows, and one lovely brunch and 4 mimosas. It was by far my most beloved summer memory.

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with a trying autoimmune disease. This summer, I found out that the medication I have been taking for the last few years has had little effect on slowing the progression and I’ve started a new medication with even more difficult side-effects. This has been a difficult summer, yet one of the most exciting summers I have had.
On an evening when I was feeling horrible after having taken this new medication, I almost cancelled plans to go out to dinner with some friends, but decided last minute to attend; It is summer, after all! That night I met some very interesting people, one of whom has handed me an opportunity that has essentially allowed me to start my own consulting business. This is my favorite summer memory and it has shown me that I have so much to look forward to and to work towards!

Vacationing on Catalina Island with my whole family!
A fun visit to a friend who recently moved to Seattle — my first time in the Pacific Northwest, and it was gorgeous!
My favorite summer memory…my senior graphic design show and graduating from my university! It’s still a little unbelievable that i’m done.
Sitting in a low slung beach chair close to the surf on Pawley’s Island, digging up sharks teeth with my toes in the sand. Then going to one of those funky little shops on the “strip” in Myrtle Beach and having a pair of tiny black teeth wrapped in gold wire and made into pierced earrings. I still have my Pawley’s Island Shark Tooth earrings and wear them every time I go to the beach! It brings back memories of those early days when I fell in love with the sand and the sea!
road trip with girlfriends to a little lake in CT, where we rented a cabin and played outside (a la summer camp), took naps in the shade, floated in tubes in the lake and had bonfires at night.
My favorite summer memory was a camping trip I took with my husband for our first anniversary. We went to Central Oregon for a week of hiking, kayaking and playing in the beautiful town of Bend. There’s nothing like a week in the woods!

summers at my grandparents’ farm in south dakota….it was a lot more fun than it sounds!
My favorite summer memory was attending my younger sister’s wedding in Northern California. I was the Maid of Honor, it was a blast!!!
My favorite memory of summer was spending it with my younger cousin (of about 13 years), Lindsey! Spending quality time with family is always important, but to be able to do so the entire summer was a plus! :]
My favorite memory this summer was sipping wine and eating flat bread pizzas at a winery with friends. It was a warm sunny day and we weren’t rushed or harried to be somewhere else. So relaxing to be in the moment.
My favorite summer memory was meeting my best friend’s second baby boy, Leo. Nothing is more special than new life!
My favorite memory of summer is having endless hours as a teenager to read from my favorite authors such as Austen, Brontes and Dickens.
Spending 10 days in the Wyoming wilderness!
Running through the rain with my husband on our wedding day! We had sun, rain, hail, and then sun again so just embraced it all. It was a wonderful day and most definitely a summer highlight.
Driving across country with my husband to move to Denver. (Such an exciting and new beginning!)

In a nutshell – The definition of True Summer Glory; had to be my trip to see the Orca Whales in Victoria, British Columbia.
Imagine watching families of Orcas dancing around your boat, while the sunshine fills the air.

My favorite memory of this summer is spending a relaxing week with my husband at my in-laws cabin on the lake.
Having gelato in Nice with my mother this last summer, not sure if the beauty of the south of France or the delicious flavors made it so momorable… she had violet and rosmary and i decided on citron meringue et thyme. Delicious!
Peaceful nights on the back patio, grilling out and drinking wine with my hubby!

I just graduated from college in May so this summer has been devoid of any exciting vacations but living near the beach makes everyday feel like a vacation!

so many family events this summer, some somber and others joyful. The highlight was my sister-in-law’s wedding. She was so beautiful. My kids got to see how true love becomes a deep commitment.
My favorite memory this summer has to be giving birth to my son. Sappy, but true!
We had a fish fry in our back yard to celebrate our good friend’s birthday. It was the perfect way to end summer: under the stars and twinkle lights with good friends, some Motown, and a glass (or two!) of pinot grigio.

There were so many great moments in the summer of 2012, but the first one that pops into my mind was attending the Minnesota State Fair. Cheese curds for everyone!

At the very tail end of this summer my sister and I jetted off to Amsterdam, then rented a car to drive around Holland and Belgium. The best moment was walking the canals of Amsterdam looking in the beautiful windows of gorgeous homes in the Jordaan district. Magical Europe!

My favorite summer memory would have to be going home to the Midwest for my birthday this year (the first one I’ve spent at home in 4 years!) to see one of my good friends, also an East Coast transplant, get married to an amazing man! (Not to mention, I had a really cute date-and probably the best birthday yet!)
My favorite was a scavenger hunt we did yesterday in downtown Atlanta. We had so much fun!

I didn’t get to create as many summer memories as I would’ve liked to this summer
But I had some great beach days with my sisters on those 90+ degree days. That was the best.
Favorite Summer Memory ~ summer break from school, where I spent my entire day in my roller skates, coloring, playing in the mud. During these long days of summer, playing with my friends in the street until dusk, when mom would call you home for dinner.
My favorite memory of this summer was the wedding of my cousin. Everything was so chic and cute (a little castle in a winery, a perfect weather…) and it was above all the occasion since many years to get ALL the family together, even the ones who live outside France ! Just perfect and unforgetable !!

The best summer of my life was the year after my husband and I got married. We saved everything and flew to europe and had the most amazing time traveling around together… discovering a new place as a new married couple. It was incredible!
