A LADY FROM THE SEA…

Months ago, while trolling my favorite antique mall here in Seattle, I stumbled upon the most gorgeous bust. She was a lovely lady topped in a crown surrounded by seashells that cascaded down like hair, and I fell for her bigtime. I’ve been dreaming of finding a bust of my own to do this to, [...]

PAINT IT UP :: A LITTLE MAKEOVER

Good Monday Morning, friends!! I love when I get to kick the week off with a colorful, inspiring posts, and today is a serious dose of both. I mentioned last week that I had been working on a painting project with Sherwin-Williams as a part of National Painting Week, and today I get to finally share my [...]

Ok…that is simply fabulous! I am so inspired to transform my console table (a boring brown … I’m so over brown!) into our bar “cart” as well actually. Love, Love, Love. Great work!

Well, this post makes it look so easy…

I have always wanted to re-do a piece of furniture with an update to color but have yet to be brave enough. Perhaps it is time to jump in and try.

I love your new little bar!
I’m so into green at the moment! By you painting it has turned a plain, simple, run-of-the-mill, brown piece of furniture into something that looks unique, fun and very much a designer statement piece of furniture!
    Love it!

GET YOUR KITCH-ON.

I mentioned yesterday in the post about my painting project that I had wanted to give my kitchen a little facelift. And, since I won’t be doing it with paint, I thought it high time for some inspiration that might offer a different kind of transformation… time to get some kitchen shopping on!! Inspired by [...]

I love that pendant! I actually love everything on your mood board. The blue silverware is amazing, but it doesn’t seem to tie in anywhere else.

My current kitchen is popped with yellow, love it, makes it feel bright, highly recommend it!

that’s why i like it – to add a little something unexpected! i like coordinated pieces for the most part, but it’s fun to have a little random whimsy here and there, and i think the blue does that nicely!

Totally loving the bright yellow Saarinen table – yumm!!!! I just did a post on pops of yellow on black and white, too – I am seeing a lot of it everywhere. And “they” said that emerald was the hot color of the season… I’m kinda thinking it may really be this bright and sunny yellow!

SUMMONING SPRING

coco+kelley spring picks

While last Friday had me in a bit of a mood, I realized that while I certainly can’t control the sunshine (which happens to finally be shining right now!), at the very least, I can control some happy spring thoughts. So, I’ve surrounded myself with flowers, banned Bon Iver from my playlists, and started a little wishlist [...]

Those stools are incredible. Definitely on my wish list now.

Great post! I know what you mean about being in a ‘mood.’ I want it to be spring so badly right now, but we just got 7 inches of snow..

    Always,

SOUTHWEST BOHO STYLE

I think my mind is ready for a vacation south of the border… or at least south of this rain. I’ve been obsessing over natural linens and layered textiles in soft palettes that recall warmer weather and seaside vacations. Still cozy enough for winter, but inviting the spring, the only colors here are shades of [...]

HAPPY HOLLADAYS

Given my love for the word ‘holla’ in my home… I just couldn’t resist sharing these welcome mats. If those both don’t belong at my front door, I don’t know what does. Available here.

STYLE THIS :: AGATE LAMP

arteriors black and rose gold agate table lamps

A couple of months ago the editors at Mountain Living asked if I was had time for a little project, and (shockingly) I did – and I’m so glad because I had fun with this one! The assignment was to choose a home accessory that reflected a trend to watch in 2013. After much pondering, [...]
