ROUNDUP :: 12 AMAZING HALLWAY RUNNERS TO SUIT YOUR STYLE + BUDGET

hallway runner roundup on coco+kelley!

I’m a huge fan of rugs – especially gorgeous runners, with major bonus points for amazing vintage ones. I swap my hallway runner seasonally (because I’m crazy) and it completely changes the appearance of the space. Here’s what my hall currently looks like… but it’s about to be rearranged once again! I’m one that prefers to restyle […]

Oh my goodness Sarah your hallway is perfection! I adore the rug. We sadly don’t have any spaces in our home where a full runner would work…but definitely saving these in case we want to install one on our stairs someday 🙂

THIS ‘N THAT :: BREAKFAST NOOK PAIRINGS

wood and white breakfast nook

This weekend our design planning for the new house began to take shape. (In case you’re catching up on the news, I moved into my boyfriend’s home just a few weeks ago!) Of all the rooms in the house, I can already tell you that my favorite is going to be what I’m calling the breakfast […]

Love all the choices but that marble topped wood table paired with a ghost chair is such a fun mix…and practical too with that top!

ONE ROOM INSPIRATION :: DARK + PREPPY

gingham study_1

Ok, I know. Dark and preppy aren’t normally words you put together. But maybe that’s why I’ve always been so into this gingham-covered room for so long now… It’s a little bit traditional, a little bit badass. I mean, it takes guts to cover an entire room with gingham, after all. And I love the […]

I love dark & preppy – it’s kind of more like country club or a hunt room. I always remember a quote I read in a magazine that said ‘one thing overdone is kind of like not overdoing it’. I always tell myself that! 🙂

HOW TO :: STYLE YOUR COFFEE TABLE

how to style your coffee table 6

Now that I’m back from vacation, my big summer project of finishing up my loft continues! I’ve been slowly adding pieces, the latest of which is the perfect coffee table and a few new accessories from HD Buttercup. All of which is a great excuse to give you a peek at how things are progressing, and do a […]

Great tips! And I especially like the use of the tray, I think that’s exactly what my living room coffee table is missing – thanks for helping me figure that out!

I love the storage your coffee table offers! I wish I could style my coffee table more often, but my cat is always knocking everything off of it.

Cassandra, the loft is looking SO good! I am head over heels for your dining room chairs. Green happens to be my youngest son’s favorite color too. We are redoing his room right now and I’ve been looking for green accessories with a masculine touch. Not easy to find. Perhaps I’ll send you a pic once we’re done. And…I have an old sofa that still works but isn’t “me” anymore. I’ve been debating on taking off the back cushions and replacing with comfy pillows instead. You’ve given me the inspiration to move forward! It just may be the facelift it needs.

Just discovered your blog and I am obsessed! Your sofa is so lovely. Can you share information about the pillows and throw?

A lovely coffee table set-up. Im English, therefore drink a lot of tea and therefore love the whole coffee/side table thing to allow me to indulge in tea drinking whilst in the lounge!! But, I find they can become so cluttered and messy after a while. I love how you’ve incorporated the items on the table into the design of the whole room. Whilst still having books/mags you’ve also added some lovely features, e.g. I love the tray. It all looks really neat but very stylish too. Thanks for fab ideas on how to incorporate a necessary/useful item as a design feature.

In love with the chairs around the dining table. Any chance you can point me in the direction of where to find them?
    Thanks!

Oooh, can you tell us more about the pillows and how you styled the sofa? I love those blue dotted pillows. Will this trick to replace the back pillows work on all types of sofas?

ONE ROOM INSPIRATION :: THE CANOPY BED

Obviously I’m obsessed with touches of blue lately, but no other form has caught my eye quite so much as the bold, blue canopy bed. So, today, I thought we’d do a double get-the-look between two rooms featuring very different takes on their style… Surrounded by neutrals, the blue in this space completely pops against […]
