ROOM OF THE WEEK :: 3.31

jenni kaynes vaulted bedroom with tons of natural light and wood beams | c magazine via coco kelley

Woah. Where did March go you guys? As I was writing the date for today’s post I realized how this month just flew by! There’s been so much going on around here, which may be why I’m craving a more minimalist interior as our Room of the Week today… This bedroom belongs to one of my favorite […]

It’s hard not to love a room with a pool just outside the door.
Have you ever showered in one of those tubs? Total pain. I get that they’re pretty, but they are not practical.

I looked at the full story referenced here but can’t find the name of the piece or artist who did the large scale gray piece in the first two photos. Does anyone know?

ROOM OF THE WEEK 2.4

Raise your hand if you have recently become completely obsessed with tile. It’s everywhere right now – and I’m definitely not talking subway tile. But do you love it enough to do it in your living room? This Room of the Week, belonging to David Stark and recently featured in NY Mag shows us how it’s done… The […]

Beautiful tile, but I would definitely not want it throughout the house. Tile is way too hard and cold for me (even with radiant heat). For me, there is not substitute for wood floors. Thanks for the inspiration!

Gorgeous for sure but I could not take that much pattern…..one of the reason that I can’t handle wallpaper (besides it being a miserable experience to remove) I like pattern on things easier to change (read as fear of commitment if you wish!)

I have two favorite things here – the pattern on the floor which is trippy and totally awesome, and that coffee table, which I’m sure cost an arm and a leg but was totally worth it.

ROOM OF THE WEEK // 1.6

the cozy bedroom of homepolish founder noa santos with rich burgundy headboard, fur comforter, and lots of light and white - via coco+kelley7

The very first Room of the Week of the new year! I have a special place in my heart for this simple series as it’s been the longest running and still a favorite for myself and – it seems – for you! I hope this inaugural room for 2016 doesn’t disappoint! It’s certainly got me wishing […]

Great office view! The minimal-style table, side pillar, and natural light form the window view make this room great. The accents on the table (especially the iMac) are great; and I love the pillar with the planter, added a bit of green to the space.

    Great room!

HOW TO STYLE :: WINTER BEDDING!

winter bedding styling with coco kelley and parachute_7

While I appreciate a decent dose of color throughout the rest of the home, in the bedroom, I’ve always been a neutrals girl. And when it comes to bedding – an abundance of white sheets. But when Parachute Home asked me to style up my bed with some winter bedding selections, I went totally rogue […]

THIS ‘N THAT :: NIGHTSTAND PAIRINGS

w1000_h1000-3

Lately, I’ve been scouring the internet for the perfect bedside combination. I recently refinished a pair of vintage nightstands and realized bedsides dressers are a difficult piece to style. There are so many amazing options, with inspiration all over the web, sometimes it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. If you’re anything like me, with hundreds of ideas swimming in […]
