PROUD IN THE PNW
Up in my little corner of the states, we Pacific Northwesters tend to get lost in many ways. In sports. In the design scene. In fashion. But, slowly, that’s been changing. I’ve seen my city (Seattle) start to evolve in the past couple of years. From a city I felt stuck in to a city [...]

YAY!!!!!! seattle represent!
I can’t wait to look through it!
Where is that mirror from?!?! I love it!
I have always wanted to live in the PNW… not sure why, but hopefully I’ll at least get to visit sometime soon!
I would LOVE if you did!! Anytime girl, we’d be happy to have ya!
i live in the midwest but absolutely LOVE the PNW. my uncle lives in portland and i spent many happy summers as a girl driving around washington and oregon in his VW van listening to weezer and camping {two of my favorite places i remember were crater lake and the columbia river gorge}. such a gorgeous area of our country!
I might live in Miami…but I would happily move to the PNW! It’s gorg!
“I’ve seen my city (Seattle) start to evolve in the past couple of years. From a city I felt stuck in to a city that I may never want to leave.”
I feel exactly the same way! I’ve been here three years and while I’m not 100% I’ll be here forever, there’s progressively less ‘faking it’ and much more ‘making it’ when I tell people about how great it is where I live.
Hooray for the PNW coming into its own
Hi Cassandra
Please can you tell me who the artwork is by in the last shot?
I always look at your blog for inspiration. Your work is always beautiful and interesting.
Many thanks
Bill
Wow, stunning interiors! I’m definitely not from the PNW…I’m a prairie girl from Canada, but LOVE the looks.
That black chair is so cool, I want one!
<3…SERIOUSLY. Thank you.
I’ve never been to Seattle, but it’s on my list of places to visit. I look forward to going there someday (maybe soon!)
Have always wanted to visit Seattle and cannot wait until I finally do
Lovely feature xo
Thank you for this entry! I have been following your blog this past year, and it always inspires me with your great taste in design, fashion, and more. I left my lovely Seattle right after college to live in NYC and work in fashion, and have just decided to move back with my fiance this summer after 8 years out East. It’s been a bit scary and emotional to wrap my head around coming home, but this piece you wrote reminded me of all the reasons to live in such a beautiful place. I can’t wait to re-discover this place, and I so appreciate your words about the creative world that exists back home. Thank you for this!!
