FOODIE FASHIONISTA:: SOFT & FRESH

Yummy Food

There are times when I see a photo and almost instantly an outfit idea materializes. This was one of those times. Something about the mix of  pastel pink and mint  just begs to be worn. The resulting outfit would be perfect for girls brunch, wouldn’t you say? top // pants // earrings // bracelet // bag [...]

    Id wear them all year, to cheer up the winter grayness here:).
    I just watched an old movie set in the 1930′s and this was the whole colour scheme with art deco patterns everywhere, was loving its freshness

FOODIE FASHIONISTA :: GARDEN FRESH

There is really very little better than a fresh avocado. I think I could be pretty happy if all I ate the rest of my life were avocados. And when you toss in some tomato, red onion and cilantro? Beyond amazing. So let’s take this fresh, simple and colorful concept and apply it to our [...]

FOODIE FASHIONISTA :: BLUE CRUSH

7553467224_1e424fa352_o

One of my favorite things about the summer season is the cocktails. The refreshing and (more often than not) fruity concoctions served during the warmer month are oh-so appealing… although this might have to do with the sundrenched patios and rooftops they are enjoyed on! Whatever the reason, sometimes this fashionista has to throw on [...]

    Love that outfit. The green in the bracelets is a perfect contrast to the blue in the rest of the ensemble. Adorable!

FOODIE FASHIONISTA :: PRETTY IN PEACH

7460468900_ab636492d4_o

Peach is such a playful color, a little bit orange, a little bit pink – soft, but fresh. I love the hues in these peachy food pairings – whether it be prosciutto or cherries – they’re both so very, very ripe for summer. And what better to wear when enjoying these peachy concoctions but a peach inspired [...]

FOODIE FASHIONISTA :: SUMMER ROMANCE

Ah, June! Such a lovely month. Filled with the promise of summer, the joy of long, sunny days and the perfect weather for ice cream. I love the romantic color combination of cherries and roses with the creamy whites and blues in this photo. And, I really love how the colors translate into a perfect summer ensemble. Light [...]

FOODIE FASHIONISTA :: BREAKFAST IN BED

7305405482_a34df9135a_o

The “Pajama Chic” trend is one I’ve yet to try, but something about it is very appealing. Who doesn’t want to stay in PJs all day long? Over on Chicasaurus-Rex (this is Crissie, by the way!) I styled up a pair of sweats… but that’s the closest I’ve come. But, for some reason when I [...]

    Really love the sunglasses…but don’t know if I could stay in PJ’s all day unless I was sick in bed. xoxo

    We were in South Beach recently and saw not one but several couples promenading in their silk pjs and colorful robes…maybe the more we see of this trend the more familiar it will seem….frankinotstor 24
