GET THE LOOK :: DRESS UP YOUR {TIE} DYE

coco-kelley-street-style-get-the-look-shibori-tie-dye

Growing up, if you had told me that I’d be back into tie-dye I wouldn’t have believed you for a second. But, thanks to the whole shibori trend, I’m totally digging on many of this print in many ways. However, as a city girl, what I’m really loving are the pieces that you can actually dress […]

So sad that the dress you’re wearing from Nordstrom is already sold out in the petite sizes! I bookmarked the dress the other day and should have bought it!

LOVE! I’ve always been scared of tie dye. I know, I know. It’s silly. That look with the Gold’s Gym tank has me dying for some! And seriously regretting disposing of my Thakoon for Target dress. ALAS.

INTERIOR ENSEMBLE // v.2

cocokelley interior ensemble_5

In our first post of this new ‘Interior Ensemble’ series, I mentioned that we sort of stumbled onto this concept when putting together outfits to shoot within our friend Tamara Codor‘s loft. So, this second ensemble was something we had put together before even getting in the space. Is it an exact interpretation of this […]

SLIDE ON IN :: THE SPRING SANDAL TREND

This weekend over drinks, my girlfriends and I had a very deep conversation that stemmed from the irony of us having fought so hard for years to rid Seattle of its Birkenstock hippie stigma, only have the sandals make their inevitable (?) return to fashion this year. (Insert eye-roll here.)  The discussion quickly turned to the similar […]

Aaaah I can’t deal! I really never liked those shoes…they just remind me of my high school boyfriend after basketball practice (which is an entirely appropriate time to wear them). But with those gorgeous outfits? seriously? Nooo. Haha I do however like the leather ones you liked too, but that’s about as far as I can imagine going! So funny to see this trend :)

I’ve been wearing soccer slides post-work for over 25 years. While incredibly comfortable, I won’t be sporting them anywhere except the gym.

This is like THE MAIN SUBJECT in fashion world these days – should we wear them with sock or without them? Some fasionistas agree with socks & high heels too.
I have to tweet this, I’m dying to know what others think :)

3 TRENDS TO TRY FOR NEW YEAR’S EVE

three trends to try for new years eve coco+kelley

Now that I’ve wrapped up my Christmas shopping, I’m on to the next big thing on my list – what to wear for New Year’s Eve! There are plenty of options out there, but only a few current trends that I’m interested in entertaining to ring in 2014… I’ve been a fan of the big […]

RED + LEOPARD (AND A REBECCA MINKOFF GIVEAWAY!)

red+leopard for the wardrobe coco+kelley

Dressing up for Halloween last week got me thinking how silly it is that some of us only take fashion risks one night out of the year. Don’t get me wrong – I’m certainly not encouraging too short skirts and body paint on an everyday basis (or even on Halloween for that matter), but I can’t help […]
