GET THE LOOK :: SUNNIES + HEAD SCARVES

head wrap and reflective sunglasses paris fashion week via wwd

I like to give myself goals for every fashion season – something to push me out of my routine and guide some of my purchases and style direction as the weather changes. So for summer? I’m thinking the combination of some really fabulous and bold sunglasses paired with mastering the art of the head scarf […]

This is such a great idea to set yourself fashion goals for each season and trying to get out of your comfort zone by challenging your fashion routine. I love it and have to think of one myself too. I would probably start with a simple and modest version of the sunnies and scarfs combo. I really like the white hot pair.

I love the idea of fashion goals! I get intimidated to try new things, and I like the idea of it being a “goal.” I really wanted to get braver about wearing hats this summer, because I love them but they’re not worn a lot. Why is it so hard for me to try a style that is out of the norm?? You inspire me to be more courageous with fashion.

I always find that little accessory pairings are such a fun way to add a pop of color and a little uniqueness. Making fashion goals is such a great idea, I know that everyone once in a while I need the extra push to be more adventurous with my style.
    Love the retro pair!

Love it! Perfect solution for my new summer hair that’s too short for a pony. And I’ve been craving some retro shades for a while, what a great excuse to go for it! Thanks for the inspiration!

THREE MUST-HAVE NECKLACES FOR SS14

spring-jewelry-must-haves-_-medallion-necklace

Lately, I realize I’ve been a bit lacking in the accessories department. A lot of my jewelry skews towards the more glamorous, but my style lately has been swinging the other direction, so what’s a girl to do? Shop of course. With purpose. After spending entirely too much time shopping my options, I’ve narrowed down […]

SPRING TOE TAPPIN’

favorite-anthro-flats-coco+kelley

As a girl who lives in her flats, I’m always on the hunt for chic alternatives to my basic ballets. This weekend I decided to start thinking about my must-haves for spring in the shoe department, and was surprised to find a pretty fabulous variety of options at Anthropologie. Naturally, I had to share. (Am I […]

I’m definitely in the market for a Spring bootie (to pair with tights and dresses that I layer during the transition from Winter to Spring) along with my tireless search for comfortable flats. I’m feeling the Lydia lasercut in silver from this post, great finds!

BEAUTIFUL TO THE BONE

More than a year ago, I stumbled upon the beautiful jewelry created by Leah Singh in a store in Boston. Of course, I completely forgot to write down the name of the designer, and that was that. Until a few weeks ago when I stumbled upon her work again by accident – a very happy […]

RED + LEOPARD (AND A REBECCA MINKOFF GIVEAWAY!)

red+leopard for the wardrobe coco+kelley

Dressing up for Halloween last week got me thinking how silly it is that some of us only take fashion risks one night out of the year. Don’t get me wrong – I’m certainly not encouraging too short skirts and body paint on an everyday basis (or even on Halloween for that matter), but I can’t help […]
