OSCAR BRIDAL GOES BOHO?

I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s ever been asked the question, “If you could have one person design your wedding dress, who would it be?”. My answer includes a few people – the first one being Oscar de la Renta. So, when bridal fashion week rolls around, you know I’m always keeping my eye […]

Oh, Oscar, he always keeps things so fresh. I love the eyelet ensemble for the beach wedding, or the after party, so stunning, with a classic edge. The garlands and simple garden bouquets are equally refreshing. Beautiful finds Cassandra.

GET THE LOOK :: ETHNIC CHIC

If I never hear the term ‘festival style’ again in my life it will be too soon, but there is something to be said for the overall aesthetic of this genre. Usually defined by bohemian, flowy tops and dresses in lace, embroidery and a more ethnic influence, this mesh of worldly influences can be quite beautiful… […]

Love the bohemian look. Cost Plus usually has some nice, flowy tops and kaftans that I love to pair with a nice pair of jeans!

I’ve been looking for those Dolce Vita shoes in my size everywhere! They are the perfect summer heel in my opinion.

LABEL LUST :: FOR LOVE + LEMONS

It may be my constant craving these days for sunny climates, but my infatuation with the line For Love & Lemons suddenly has no bounds. I pretty much want every piece (totally disregarding the fact that I probably can’t wear half of them) in the collection… Their citron lace pieces are sold out practically everywhere – […]

Beautiful pieces, now I’m obsessing! This is the perfect collections and dresses for my trip to Riviera Maya, especially that white stunner!

What amazing inspiration! Victoria’s Secret has some off-the-shoulder dresses you may want to check out. Nothing like this beautiful editorial, but simple and stylish nonetheless…

APRIL MOODBOARD //

I have no idea where the last month went, but I can’t believe it’s April already! Spring has definitely arrived in Seattle, and I think my monthly moodboard is one for the birds… Feelin’ a little feathery, and a little fringy… most definitely an exotic bird this month. It’s all about textures, tropical greens, and […]

Hi Charlene! The credit for the image is at the bottom of the post – I don’t believe it’s a poster or print, just an created image. I haven’t been able to find it as a print. Thanks!

I love all the greens in this mood board, and that wallpaper in the second to last photo is pretty fabulous! I’ve been on a plant hunt and I’ve brought in a ton of plants into my room to create a greener space… Definitely keeps things fresh!

SLIDE ON IN :: THE SPRING SANDAL TREND

This weekend over drinks, my girlfriends and I had a very deep conversation that stemmed from the irony of us having fought so hard for years to rid Seattle of its Birkenstock hippie stigma, only have the sandals make their inevitable (?) return to fashion this year. (Insert eye-roll here.)  The discussion quickly turned to the similar […]

Aaaah I can’t deal! I really never liked those shoes…they just remind me of my high school boyfriend after basketball practice (which is an entirely appropriate time to wear them). But with those gorgeous outfits? seriously? Nooo. Haha I do however like the leather ones you liked too, but that’s about as far as I can imagine going! So funny to see this trend :)

I’ve been wearing soccer slides post-work for over 25 years. While incredibly comfortable, I won’t be sporting them anywhere except the gym.

This is like THE MAIN SUBJECT in fashion world these days – should we wear them with sock or without them? Some fasionistas agree with socks & high heels too.
I have to tweet this, I’m dying to know what others think :)
