THE HAPPY {GLAMPY} CAMPER

michal pidelka for numero france | via coco+kelley

August is right around the corner which means I’m counting down to my first camping trip of the summer. And by ‘of the summer’ I mean my first camping trip in years. It’s not that I don’t like camping… I’ve just never loved it enough to invest in all the stuff you need to do it. And, yes, […]

Ha! I do both types of camping. PCT for a week next month with my girlfriends. But there is something awesome about having those actual real toilets that come with “car camping”. Have fun!

Try La Wis Wis! It is memorably beautiful, campsites near the river, beautiful bright blue water, in between Mt St Helens and Rainier. You’ll thank me later!😉

I love the outdoors, but have never considered myself to be a huge camper. I’m not sure I could handle the lack of running water! That being said, after moving to Manhattan I’ve truly come to cherish all of my weekends out of the busy city. This is a great tip and might provide me just with the inspiration I need to spend a weekend in the woods!

While I love being outside and hike in the woods, at night I need to go inside a proper dwelling. This was a very cute post- have a great time!

This was such a cute post! Even though I am a country girl, I tend to feel the same way about camping. I don’t mind getting dirty, but I also love running water for showers and toilets! I hope you have/had a wonderful time!

I also just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your blog! There is always something fresh and new. It’s so inviting. It certainly helps me on days when I’m not feeling too creative. Thanks for the pick-me-ups when I need them! :)

DRESS THE PART(Y) :: 4TH OF JULY!

dress-the-party-4th-of-july-coco-kelley

So, this is a little series I’ve been thinking of doing for a while. Whenever I entertain – as I think most of us do – I like to play the part. Or rather, DRESS the part. Because I’m not just talking about being hostess with the mostess. I’m talking about literally matching up my outfit […]

OUR PICKS FOR SUMMER KICKS!

summer sandals and flats | Picks from coco+kelley

Summer is officially here and I don’t know about you but my warm weather wardrobe could use a major update this year. That goes for shoes too. So I perked right up when I got an email this morning with a little sale alert over at Shopbop! Since I was doing the hunting anyway, I thought I’d put […]

CHANNELING :: BRIGITTE BARDOT IN ST. TROPEZ

brigette-in-st-tropez

Everyone needs a good muse once in a while to spark some creative direction in our lives, and for me, this summer it’s definitely Brigitte Bardot’s bohemian St. Tropez style… The combination of every type of woven – crochet, macrame, wicker, you name it – is spot on for my summer styling. 1. rattan lanterns // 2. tassel and […]

Mine’s Brigitte too! Growing up, my name in French class was Brigitte because of my middle name. Her hair is making me want to grow mine out for late summer/early fall when the temps drop and the Houston humidity isn’t quite so horrid!

I love the crochet suit and the mat!! Thanks for the inspo :)

I love all of these. I adore crochet, knit, macrame. And I especially love her dress. Actually I’m kind of wearing a similar dress to that as we speak. I think I might have to get that hat!

THIS WEEK WAS BANANAS…

coco-kelley-banana-motif

Bananas have had their moment in fashion over the past few years (Decade? I can’t keep track anymore). From Rachel Zoe and Gwen Stefani making the phrase ‘bananas’ popular again, to the craze over the 2011 Prada runway motif. But this week, my friends, was a whole other, not quite as fabulous type of bananas […]
