LEATHER + NEON + FRINGE… OH MY.

boo and boo factory leathery jewelry

What could possibly go wrong when a creative mind brings together neon and leather? Absolutely nothing. Which is why I’m totally energized by the super fun designs of boo+boo factory out of Chicago… I mean, I’m not sure how you couldn’t possibly be happy and inspired crafting in this fun workspace every day!   Geometrics. […]

JUST MY STYLE :: THE DESIGNER COLLECTIVE

ebay-designer-collective-favorites-from-coco-kelley

Well, I was a bit of a slacker blogger this week to say the least. Running around NYC will do that to a girl! I always forget that the second my feet touch the ground in that city, I rarely get a chance to be on my laptop (not complaining about that one!). It also always […]

GET THE LOOK :: PALAZZO PANTS FOR SUMMER

palazzo-pant-trend-coco-kelley

Every time summer rolls around, I pull out my box full of those few articles of clothing reserved strictly for warm weather, and out come my favorite white, wide-leg linen pants. I’ve always found it funny how people are intimidated by this style - especially if they’re short like me – but the truth is that […]

I’m 5ft and I love wide-legged pants. I usually pair them with tank tops since I’m so petite. The only thing with wide legs and petite frames is you’ve got to have a good tailor :’)

I so agree with you, palazzo pants are so flattering.
I love your choice of fancy pants, they always look so effortless and chic!
They always look great in linen or a more fluid fabric, especially in neutral colours.
Your choice of casual pants, in prints or a soft jersey are also great!
You can’t go wrong with a palazzo pant, It’s a summer essential!

Thanks for the alternate! There are tons of great camis out there – I just have the WORST time finding ones that actually fit me well without puckering, etc and I really love the tibi ones. Have you tried this one? I’m curious!

JULY MOODBOARD //

coco-kelley-july-moodboard

It’s summer, and right now is the absolutely best time to be in the Pacific Northwest. So it’s no wonder that this month’s moodboard feels like weekends at the lake, and lazy afternoons…   Really feeling so much white for summer this year.   Indoor/outdoor living is my absolute favorite. It’s what I miss the […]

IT’S ALL IN THE EYES

eyes-have-look-from-Milan-Fashion-Week

This trend seemed to start last year with Kenzo’s eye prints popping up everywhere during fashion week and on street style radars, but  a year later, I’m still a bit fascinated by the use of the ancient ‘evil eye’ as a statement making pattern… My favorite form of this by far has been the eye manis, […]

These eyes are actually called Nazars and are supposed to protect from the evil eye. In folk traditions, especially around the Mediterranean, giving someone the evil eye (either purposefully or without intent, for example in the case of looking at someone enviously) can supposedly curse them. These little eyes ward the evil eye by “looking” back at the person responsible.
