SPRING STYLE INSPIRATION :: SWEET FLORALS + WINDOWPANES

spring inspiration in black and white with floral detail from Moncler Gamme Rouge SPRING16 | via coco kelley

Since returning from sunnier climates a few days ago, I’ve been ecstatic to see the flowers in our yard blooming, and the sun making a few appearances – it really feels like we’re on the verge of spring, and I can hardly wait! There’s something so refreshing about this time of year, and while I’ve been […]

    HOLY WOW those first few pictures are insanely gorgeous and I pinned immediately. You are so right- I can imagine what a stunning tabletop translation they would make- maybe I will try something like this for a st. patty’s brunch? Could be modern and fun. Plus now I need to save all my shekels for that long grey coat with sequin embroidery!

    Thanks for the inspo!

THE EDIT :: FEBRUARY

the february shopping edit from coco+kelley

The sun is shining today in Seattle, and in exactly 20 days I will be headed off to Morocco and Portugal for some work and play! (And, yes, I’m absolutely counting down.) photo via the french eye Two reasons why my February shopping edit may seem a bit more tropical and bright than mid-winter grey… […]

GET THE LOOK :: A JUMPSUIT FOR NEW YEAR’S EVE

Grasie362-002

This New Year’s Eve, I’m trying an non-traditional outfit; I’ll be ringing in 2016 wearing a jumpsuit. With seventies fashion in full swing, this look can be dressed up for a party in the city, or kept fashion-forward for a casual dinner with friends. As of now, my NYE plans include going to dinner with a […]

ON TREND :: MOON PHASE

stella marie studio

There are many motifs  that come and go but this is one that has stuck with me lately – I’m calling it my moon phase. However, it’s not necessarily in the ways that you might think… Really, it all started with Stella Maria Baer‘s beautiful moon paintings – the colors so perfectly in harmony with where […]

THE HAPPY {GLAMPY} CAMPER

michal pidelka for numero france | via coco+kelley

August is right around the corner which means I’m counting down to my first camping trip of the summer. And by ‘of the summer’ I mean my first camping trip in years. It’s not that I don’t like camping… I’ve just never loved it enough to invest in all the stuff you need to do it. And, yes, […]

    Ha! I do both types of camping. PCT for a week next month with my girlfriends. But there is something awesome about having those actual real toilets that come with “car camping”. Have fun!

    Try La Wis Wis! It is memorably beautiful, campsites near the river, beautiful bright blue water, in between Mt St Helens and Rainier. You’ll thank me later!😉

    I love the outdoors, but have never considered myself to be a huge camper. I’m not sure I could handle the lack of running water! That being said, after moving to Manhattan I’ve truly come to cherish all of my weekends out of the busy city. This is a great tip and might provide me just with the inspiration I need to spend a weekend in the woods!

    While I love being outside and hike in the woods, at night I need to go inside a proper dwelling. This was a very cute post- have a great time!

    This was such a cute post! Even though I am a country girl, I tend to feel the same way about camping. I don’t mind getting dirty, but I also love running water for showers and toilets! I hope you have/had a wonderful time!

    I also just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your blog! There is always something fresh and new. It’s so inviting. It certainly helps me on days when I’m not feeling too creative. Thanks for the pick-me-ups when I need them! :)
