A WHIMSICAL WONDERLAND TABLETOP

a-whimsical-wonderland-table-coco-kelley4

It’s funny how holidays can evoke a certain mood from year to year. Last Christmas, I was in the mood for sophisticated, wintery glamour with a frosty, table of white, burgundy and gold. But this year? I’m all about joy in the form of color with this Christmas tabletop inspiration we created around these adorable bottle-brush trees in shades […]

I was just admiring those trees at Anthro! What a gorgeous table setting. There was a tutorial over on Beautiful Mess this week to DIY bottle brush trees. It was pretty cute…

Wow. Those are some pricey trees. There are a couple hundred dollars worth on that table. Seems like a terrible waste of money.

MY THANKSGIVING TABLE INSPIRATION…

winter-hygge-dinner-scout-blog-belathee-photography-aran-goyoaga-jenn-elliott-blake

Two things have providing inspiration for a simple, organic Thanksgiving table this year – and if you follow me on instagram, then you already know what one of them is! These bunches of cotton branches. And if you’ve been reading the blog, then you might recognize the other one from my November moodboard – black and white buffalo plaid. […]

What a beautiful table setting! Lovely color combination, simple and stylish. Perfect timing, too. I recently bought some cotton branches and just didn’t know what to do with them. You gave me perfect inspiration. Thank you!

    With Love, Monika

SETTING A RICH TABLE FOR FALL

dark floral tabletop coco kelley_2

I tend to go a bit overboard when it comes to entertaining – and especially when we put together shoots for coco+kelley. I love dreaming up beautiful details for a tabletop, but sometimes all you really need is one really gorgeous centerpiece to set the mood…   I love the way the jewel-tone florals look set […]

Wow this table looks stunning! The rich autumnal colours of the flowers look so strong against the black ground, and are perfectly highlighted by the warm tones of the wood and the gold cutlery!
I would love to eat there!!

Hi Cassandra – I absolutely love this centerpiece – especially the color richness of the florals. Unfortunately the link to the tutorial has expired/broken. Would you be willing to share your tutorial on your website?

A SWAMP SOIREE FOR HALLOWEEN!

coco-kelley-swamp-soiree_1

I’ve always loved Halloween – what kid doesn’t? Free candy and playing dress up? Count me in. And as I’ve aged that sentiment certainly hasn’t changed much – but the celebrations definitely have! We’ve gone from scandalous costumes at college house parties that last late into the night, to trick-or-treat gathering with friends who have their own kiddos. But […]
