A PATRIOT’S PARTY FOR THE 4TH OF JULY!

fourth-of-july-party-inspiration-coco-kelley

Between World Cup celebrations and our Independence Day on Friday I think it’s safe to say that we’re all feeling a little extra patriotic around here this week! Last year I was spending the 4th with some amazing new friends on the Jersey shore. While it’s going to be hard to top that one, I […]

Lovely choices! I am going with a rustic 4th of july decor this year. I’m thinking burnt reds, hints of navy, and lots of crisp whites accompanies by wood and galvanized metal. The drink dispenser and plate you shared are perfect!

You chose such cute items! I really need more red, white + blue decor for parties, too, but our apt just doesn’t have room right now.

RECIPE :: PAN-SEARED CALAMARI

C+B_Rooftop028

When brainstorming the perfect dish to go with our Mediterranean-inspired al fresco tabletop that we showed you last week, I knew immediately that I wanted to do something easy and reminiscent of my time in Sicily a few years back. Then it came to me – a family favorite! Pan-seared calamari. The flavors and preparation are […]

AL FRESCO IN THE CITY WITH CRATE & BARREL

coco kelley for crate and barrel dining al fresco in the city_16

For the first time in my life, I have a rooftop deck to enjoy sunny days on. For years, I haven’t even had a little patio or patch of grass to call my own, so you better believe I’m excited to spend hours enjoying my city views and barbecues and many many evenings of entertaining […]

Oh my gosh what a beautiful summer dinner set up! I love the color pallet of turquoise and black, they are not two colors that I would initially think to pair together but it is working soo well here.
Love all these Paola Navone designs, especially the great dishes. And the fish platter = perfection!

THIS ‘N THAT :: THE COCKTAIL MATCHUP

cocktail-match-up-glassware-napkins-and-recipes-coco-kelley

This weekend I found myself making a big ‘ol list of cocktail recipes to try out on the blog for summer, and it got me thinking about how the perfect recipe really requires the perfect glass and cocktail napkin pairing…  1: glass / napkin / cocktail 2: glass / napkin / cocktail 3: glass / […]

SETTING THE TABLE :: A MOROCCAN BRUNCH FOR EASTER

If there’s one thing ya’ll should know about me by now when it comes to my tabletops, it’s that we rarely do anything too conventional around here. Last year, we whipped up a fantastic Mexican menu for Valentine’s Day. This year? I was inspired by one of my favorite Moroccan dishes and some beautiful linens […]

I am loving the little succulent egg place cards! So creative, as always!! I am also a huge fan of Moroccan food, I can’t wait to see the recipe. Bravo :)

This Easter tabletop pulled a few heartstrings for me and really brought me back to Easter dinners (that would happen at 2pm in my family) at my Polish grandmother’s house. She had a blue tablecloth much like that and would set the table in her beautifully patterned flatware. It was simple, cozy yet so thoughtfully put together. I love what you did here and thanks for invoking some warm memories for me.

I am seriously hearing this table arrangement. Blue and yellow so fab together and those little wooden placeholders are divine. Happy Easter Wishes – Shell , A Darlings Nest
