the ruby rouser cocktail recipe coco kelley_2

Last week’s cocktail recipe installation started a bit of a trend for me, I think: creating drinks inspired by my favorite summer adventures and pastimes. This week? In homage to many a day sitting on the deck by the lake lately… I give you The Ruby Rouser. First off, you have to know that this […]

COCKTAILS AT SIX :: THE BELLA ROSA

Cass_Cocktail_196

What’s more inspired than a summer cocktail? A cocktail inspired by one of my favorite summer destinations of course! It’s been three years now since my last escape to the Amalfi Coast, but I can still imagine myself sipping on something cool and refreshing, sitting high up on the cliffs overlooking the sea… So, I pulled out a favorite indulgence […]

    This looks gorgeous, so refreshing!
    Any ideas of a substitute for the rose lemonade?
    I live in a beautiful mountain town in northern Italy so the prosecco (my favourite)! and the limoncello are not a problem but I don’t think rose lemonade has hit the streets of Borgotaro yet! Any ideas?

RECIPE :: PAN-SEARED CALAMARI

C+B_Rooftop028

When brainstorming the perfect dish to go with our Mediterranean-inspired al fresco tabletop that we showed you last week, I knew immediately that I wanted to do something easy and reminiscent of my time in Sicily a few years back. Then it came to me – a family favorite! Pan-seared calamari. The flavors and preparation are […]

COCKTAIL RECIPE :: THE ROOFTOP

coco kelley mezcal grapefruit and fennel cocktail recipe

The most important ingredient to any party, as far as I’m concerned is whipping up a signature cocktail. For our casual little rooftop gathering, I wanted something super refreshing for the summer, but with a kick. My go-to drinks always involve grapefruit, so after doing some hunting, I discovered a concoction that piqued my interest… […]

RECIPE :: SHAKSHUKA (MOROCCAN BAKED EGGS)

I’ve been on a huge brunch kick lately – spending every Sunday with pancackes and french toast and scrambles – but for our Easter brunch a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to go with something really different. So, I tried my hand at a Shakshuka – a Moroccan baked egg dish that packs a ton of […]

    Thank you! I finally treated myself to six le creuset cocottes and this will look amazing nestled in the black cocottes. I love the thought of guests lifting the lids to their individual cocottes to reveal something so colorful and scrumptious!

    oh wow – this looks absolutely delicious…the ingredients promise a very strong flavour but it’s something I like so I am prety sure I’ll love the dish. Not so excited about the sausage part but once in a million years a think it will do no harm :)
