easter remix tabletop coco+kelley1

Last week I let you in on the inspiration behind a fun little Easter tabletop we put together in the new office, and today, I’m sharing! I wanted to punk out pastels, and breathe new life into traditional china. Like Sofia Coppola’s version of Marie Antoinette, nothing was to girly or whimsical for this setting… [...]

Everything about this is awesome. You really hit the ball out of the park with this one. Love the color palette and love the mixing of matching of the dinner plates. Thanks for the amazing inspiration, I might be using a couple of ideas for my Easter Brunch this weekend.

I would love to try this for my daughters 16th birthday. Since we will be away in Europe, I was considering having a celebration dinner with our closest friends for an intimate dinner. Thanks for the fab idea.

I promised a recipe later today for the three chocolate dipping sauces and I’m here to deliver! Churros alone are delicious, but these chocolate sauces put them over the top! My favorite was the Chocolate Chili because I’m a huge fan of dark chocolate and spice, but they were all amazing! Even the white chocolate [...]

You may remember a few weeks back my little feature on Glitter Guide where we talked about how to throw a party in a small space (ie, my apartment!) and we featured a fun little metallic fringe garland setup above the bar. The fab fringe also made an appearance in yesterday’s New Year’s Eve outfitting [...]

Question: would you please tell me where you bought your dining chairs?
Also, is the table an oak one with a leaf that you painted black?
    Thank you.

IN THE DETAILS :: WHERE TO PUT THAT BAR…

in the details coco+kelley bar entertaining4

When I entertain guests in my teensy apartment, space is at a premium. So, I thought it would be fun to start brainstorming some creative ways to move things around for holiday parties this year, and these bars really got me thinkin’… In small areas, its important to recognize an under utilized space in the [...]

I recently repurposed a downstairs bedroom as a den in my tiny cape in Portland, OR and I converted the bedroom closet into a wet bar. it is a hit at parties and I love having a space that is separate from my kitchen so that when guests are over I can direct them towards the bar area. Would love to post a pic but not sure how! C

Great post! I am absolutely infatuated with bar carts. I have an antique pine armoire that is in my garage and I have been thinking about adding shelves and turning it into a bar for my living room.

Before my grandfather passed away in the early 90′s he built me a hutch. This may kill some people, but the hutch was too country for my taste so I cut off the scroll work, painted it black and turned it into my liquor cabinet! I keep it in my dining room stocked with goodies. My husband is usually on drink duty and it keeps him out of the kitchen during my last minute prep work. I love it!

I love that closet idea too! So inventive! And a mirror or picture propped in the back of the closet would be so fun!

Love this inspiration! I definitely want to go out and buy a bar cart and mirror now! I typically use the counter in my open kitchen, but I ore the idea of a central, designated area!
