RECIPE :: CUCUMBER MINT JULEP GRANITA

DerbyDay_40

Now that we’re in approaching the Kentucky Derby, the extravagant hats, the gatherings at Churchill Downs and derby pie all spark that southern allure. Of course, no celebration of the Derby is complete without a Mint Julep; so we knew that […]

You mean the food? It’s just a couple of classics – a benedictine sandwich and some bourbon pecans! I mentioned them in the previous post, but we just found the recipes on pinterest!

This would totally hit the spot right now in this heat! I am a big fan of Simply Orange but definitely want to try the Mixed Berry one. By the way, where did you get the pitcher from? Love it.

RECIPE :: MOROCCAN INSPIRED CROSTINI, 3 WAYS

Moroccan Crostini, 3 Ways // coco+kelley

Ever since catching that pesky, unwavering travel bug after returning from Eastern Europe and Russia, I’ve been putting together a list of dream travels. The ordering of the list changes on occasion, but Morocco has been the resolute number one since its conception. So, as you can guess, when Cass told me she was officially going to Marrakech, […]

I was visiting my parents in Minnesota over the holidays and my mom and I had lunch at the American Swedish Institute. They had a lovely beet bloody mary on their menu. It was served with Aquavit and not only was it delicious, as the server said, “it’s a beautiful drink.”
