DIY :: MODERN EASTER FLORAL CENTERPIECE

how to floral tutorial a modern easter floral centerpiece | by coco kelley

I don’t know why I’m extra excited about Easter this year – maybe it’s because I love when our family finally all gets together, but either way, I felt inspired to put together a ton of fun DIY’s to go with our fresh and modern Easter tabletop (which you’ll see tomorrow!) starting with our take on a […]

    Don’t use the floral foam. It NEVER biodegrades in the landfills! Use “frogs” — metal spiky things to hold your flowers or chicken wire.

      Thanks for the tip, Anne, I didn’t realize that it doesn’t biodegrade eventually – it seems like it would! We usually use chicken wire, but i didn’t have any handy for this tutorial, which is too bad because I think it would have worked even better!

CozbiFlorist_119

Being up in the Pacific Northwest, when it comes to setting tables for the holidays and beyond, there is one word that is required to describe the setting: COZY! And if you caught our Thanksgiving table setting earlier this season, I think you would agree that everything about it was warm and inviting… But the […]

A MODERN + ARTISANAL INSPIRED TABLETOP

Image-2

Just two short weeks ago I was asked to design a simple but refined tabletop for a 20-person dinner at a new private space in Seattle. Since launching The Emerald Studio last year, we’ve been hard at work with interior clients, but – other than events hosted in our own space – have yet to design […]

    Your client must have been thrilled. The table is stunning! Love the floral arrangements and the silverware, dinnerware and napkins are the perfect complement! Would love to be a guest at that table…

WEDDING PALETTES IN RED + NUDE

There’s been a trend forming on my wedding pinterest board lately, and it’s all about the combination of red + nude… We’ve seen the soft pink and nude tones in the wedding world for the past few years, and just when I thought it might be getting a bit boring, the addition of this bright, […]

      They are all amazing! I just love that cake. For me, the contrast of the deep burgundy adds so much sophistication. Number 3 for the win!

FRESHLY PICKED :: SUMMONING SPRING

freshly picked coco+kelley and tulipina kumquat and jasmine florals

Happy Tuesday!! Kiana from Tulipina here, and I am excited to be personally sharing my first post as a coco+kelley contributor today. What a great arrangement! I love the addition of the kumquats. Brings great color and an unexpected surprise to the arrangement. This post makes me want it to be spring in NYC, we got a snowstorm last night. So jealous it is warm in Northern Cali.
