FRESHLY PICKED :: SUMMONING SPRING

freshly picked coco+kelley and tulipina kumquat and jasmine florals

Sometimes simplicity is everything you need to achieve beauty, and in this DIY we use three floral types to achieve a sensuous balance of organic and simple chic to celebrate the arrival of [...]

    What a great arrangement! I love the addition of the kumquats. Brings great color and an unexpected surprise to the arrangement. This post makes me want it to be spring in NYC, we got a snowstorm last night. So jealous it is warm in Northern Cali.

FRESHLY PICKED :: A VALENTINE’S DAY CENTERPIECE

valentine's day flowers tulipina for coco+kelley

I don’t know about you, but when it comes to flowers, I can be a bit picky (to say the least). While I’ll always appreciate the gesture of flowers from a man, most days I prefer to spoil myself with a fresh arrangement hand-picked and created all on my own. So, needless to say, I’m [...]

    I love this! Those mugs are so awesome. Anthropologie has such great mugs that can double as vases etc. I might have to do this… :D I have some mugs from there that I want to use as herb vases.
    Thanks for the ideas!

FRESHLY PICKED :: A HOLIDAY ARRANGEMENT

tulpina floral tutorial materials // coco+kelley

The cornerstone to any great tabletop is a fabulous floral arrangement. And, while I like to dabble in designing my own centerpieces, I’m nowhere close to the talent that we have guesting here today! I’m so thrilled to have the fabulous Kiana Underwood of the boutique floral design studio Tulipina here to show us, in [...]

THE COCO+KELLEY SUMMER SOIREE…

ck5-woodnote-19

When coco+kelley celebrated our five-year anniversary back in May, I decided this would be the year for gratitude and growth. So many people have contributed to our successes over the years, and I wanted to start by thanking them. So… we threw a party!!! I’m sure many of you remember me blogging about my inspiration [...]

    um, the moment I saw the 2nd photo, I said: “that has got to be McKenzie Powell designed- floral arrangement.” So glad I was right! What a lovely party, you certainly have a way of bringing it all together.

INSPIRATION: A FLORAL FANTASY

When I mentioned it was going to be a crazy week, I may have left out the fact that I have not one but two shoots that I’m working on for our next issue of Rue. The second one is with the fabulous ladies of hens & chicks collective where we’ve got some floral-inspired goodness [...]

STEALING THE SHOW

If you haven’t already heard buzz around the Jil Sander Fall 2012 collection, then you might be surprised to hear that it didn’t all have to do with the clothing. Or the fact that it was Raf Simon’s final collection with the fashion house. Instead… it was all about the florals.Considering that it was a [...]

    What isn’t to love? It is contemporary and yet the beauty shines through–exactly like the ENTIRE collection–would have bought it all if I could!

    I love it! The floral arrangements mirror the essence of the clothing line. The entire space and event is a piece of art – the clothing, the flowers, the arrangements, the colors – love, love, love it.

    Takes my breath away… These clothes are AMAZING. I also find myself constantly trying to achieve a fresh modern take on traditional interiors. This is truly inspiring.

    I was very impressed with the florals in the show and I do feel they did steal the limelight. A modern display of very femininely arranged blooms.
