grapefruit-margarita-recipe-skinny-girl-and-coco-kelley2

Oh man, you guys. Summer has really hit us this year in Seattle (melting!), and more than ever I’m craving cocktails on our hot hot patio. Yummy, easy, refreshing cocktails… preferably on the skinny side so that I can still squeeze into my bikini, ya know? So, today we’ve teamed up with Skinnygirl® Cocktails once again to […]

COCKTAILS AT 6 :: THE TANGERINE SPRITZ

SkinnyGirl_24

Here’s an odd little fact: Tangerines are one of my most favorite fruits. I could eat them all day long – and yet – have I ever once thought about putting them in a cocktail? Nope. I usually reserve that for my friend, Grapefruit. (We’ll get to him later.) But today, my friends, I share with you […]

    This would totally hit the spot right now in this heat! I am a big fan of Simply Orange but definitely want to try the Mixed Berry one. By the way, where did you get the pitcher from? Love it.

VALENTINE’S DAY COCKTAIL :: TWO LIPS + A ROSE

two-lips-and-a-rose-cocktail2

Valentine’s Day. On one hand, a sweet excuse to showing your honey a little extra love. On the other hand, an over-commercialized holiday you can’t wait to pass. I’ve been on both sides of the coin, both honoring and avoiding St. Valentine, and I think I’ve found a middle ground suitable for your preferred way of […]

TURN UP THE BEET :: BLOODY MARY

turn up the beet bloody mary

It really only makes sense that New Year’s Day be National Bloody Mary Day. For those of us who partake in festivities, and those of us who are in bed by midnight, we all deserve a nice, lazy brunch – and a delicious recovery drink – to kick off the new year, don’t you think? […]

    I was visiting my parents in Minnesota over the holidays and my mom and I had lunch at the American Swedish Institute. They had a lovely beet bloody mary on their menu. It was served with Aquavit and not only was it delicious, as the server said, “it’s a beautiful drink.”
