Recipe :: Mint Pea Pesto Pasta with Spring Greens

mint and pea pesto pasta topped with fresh spring greens | recipe via coco kelley

At my family’s restaurant – Radici – we rotate through a seasonal menu, and I have to say that spring might be my favorite because of the fresh greens he puts on everything – especially PEAS! So I decided we needed to whip up our own pasta for you to join in on the goodness. And it’s […]

Recipe :: Strawberry Lemon Poppy Seed Tartlets

the most delicious summer dessert flavors! strawberry lemon tarts with poppy seed crust | recipe via coco kelley

Nothing says early summer like fresh strawberries and nothing pairs quite as well with their juicy sweetness as the tartness of lemons. And from lemons, well, the next place my mind leapt to was poppyseeds. Put these three flavors together, weave a bit of summer magic and you’ll have pretty tartlets fit for the gods, […]

RECIPE :: CILANTRO, JALAPENO AND MEZCAL MARGARITA

get our recipe for a killer margarita - smokey mezcal with spicy jalapeno, lime and cilantro is the perfect refreshing cocktail | recipe by coco kelley

Let’s face it – Cinco de Mayo is the best eating and drinking holiday there is. For me, tacos are a way of life since we live in a Seattle neighborhood with a large Mexican population and three taco trucks within walking distance (not even mentioning the restaurants!). I consider myself lucky. When it comes to margaritas, […]

RECIPE :: RHUBARB ORANGE AND THYME CROSTINI

rhubarb orange and thyme crostini recipe | paola thomas for coco kelley

Rhubarb is always a spring and summer favorite for desserts and drinks, but did you know you can also use rhubarb in savory dishes? I married the sharp crunch of raw rhubarb with the sweetness of orange juice and honey and then used it as a topping for smooth and salty goat’s cheese. The result […]

A MOON + STARS BABY SHOWER (AND YOUR CHANCE TO WIN A GOODIE BAG!)

golden slumbers moon and stars baby shower | apartment34 + coco kelley

Last winter, I threw a baby shower for my best gal Erin (who most of you know from Apartment34), and a year later her little boy is about to turn one! So we thought it was high time we shared some of our favorite elements from the day with you. I was tasked – of course – […]

Thanks for hosting this give away, along with all the others. I’d like to give or share this bag with my mom. The reason I say share is because even when we gift her something that’s solely for her she shares it with my sisters and me. I’ll do anything for my mom, so giving her this bag is simply a token of my appreciation for her. She’s completely selfless and rarely puts her interests first. I’m encouraging her to take care of herself and enjoy her life. My two sisters and I adults, so it’s time for my mother to redirect her energy and use it to be happy and have fun. Thanks again for hosting this give away and I hope to look forward to an email saying I get a bag. Either way I’m happy to express my gratitude for my mother.

What a beautiful (and original) theme! You let Mother and baby be the “stars” but had just enough sparkle and gleam to make it sparkle. The gift bag is ideal for the event. I love every item you chose.

My niece Lauren and her husband Danny just came back from China with their adopted son Beau! What a joy he is! His heart has been compromised since birth (he is almost 3) so as soon as he got in the US, he had a surgery appointment- currently he is doing pretty well but is still hooked up to machines. They are living in a rented motor home in the hospital parking lot to be near him (they live in Tallahassee but the hospital is in Tampa). Lauren deserves to be pampered!

My daughter is due in June with her 3rd baby (a boy). This is her fifth and last pregnancy. The second pregnancy resulted in miscarriage and the third was the birth of a beautiful baby girl, who was born with a serious condition (CMV) which allowed her to live for only 3 months, she never left the ICU. My daughter is brave and strong and a wonderful daughter, wife, friend and mother of 2 adorable children. She has been through so much… This gift would be most special, indeed.
