SMOLDERING SALMON

It’s not exactly rare that when you look at your closet – or your home – you have a color that emerges as a favorite. Mine is obviously coral. (That’s right – it’s not green.) But this weekend, while pulling out my summer clothes, I had an epiphany in the shape of my favorite pair of salmon-colored [...]

PALETTE BOMB :: GREEN / PEACH / TEAL / CAMEL

I’ve been quite obsessed with this palette for a while now – or at least variations of it. This shot from Lonny Mag always had me at hello with the peachy drapes, teal-green lamp, and a touch of navy blue mixed with all that warm camel… But I have to say I’ve never seen it [...]

wow, I really love this color combo! it’s not one you see every day, in fact not a lot. really love the teal color, it’s so rich. I’d love to stay in that room at the Gramercy Hotel too!

SUMMONING SPRING

coco+kelley spring picks

While last Friday had me in a bit of a mood, I realized that while I certainly can’t control the sunshine (which happens to finally be shining right now!), at the very least, I can control some happy spring thoughts. So, I’ve surrounded myself with flowers, banned Bon Iver from my playlists, and started a little wishlist [...]

Those stools are incredible. Definitely on my wish list now.

Great post! I know what you mean about being in a ‘mood.’ I want it to be spring so badly right now, but we just got 7 inches of snow..

    Always,

SOUTHWEST BOHO STYLE

I think my mind is ready for a vacation south of the border… or at least south of this rain. I’ve been obsessing over natural linens and layered textiles in soft palettes that recall warmer weather and seaside vacations. Still cozy enough for winter, but inviting the spring, the only colors here are shades of [...]

NEW YEAR, FRESH PALETTE

ellery resort palette citron + blush + olive

After a month of holiday focused posts (and life!), it feels so good to get back into a routine today, doesn’t it? And on a Wednesday too, which means the weekend is just around the corner! During the little time I took off, I felt like I finally found a bit of inspiration and energy [...]

SUGAR + SPICE HOLIDAY PALETTE

method sugar and spice holiday scents

Last year, as I packed up an all black and white tree, I’m pretty sure I remember saying ‘next Christmas, I’m doing pink and red for the holidays‘. Apparently I completely forgot this promise when designing my green and teal tree this year, but I swear, this time, for reals… next year, this palette is [...]

I love the aqua and red…if I ever get married in a wintery wedding I want that color scheme. Your not crazy, I stock up on holiday stuff all the time when Bath & Body works has their semi-annual sale right after Xmas! =)

Just want to say thanks for all the holiday posts! I’ve had a tough time getting into the spirit this year for some reason, but love that I can count on this blog to bring a little holiday (holladay?) cheer every morning! Thank you!

DRESSING FOR THE HOLIDAYS…

coco+kelley christmas decor inspiration

Now, before you get too excited, this post has nothing to do with your wardrobe and everything to do with my tree… (although we’ve got one of those wardrobe posts coming soon too!). Last week when I pulled all my decorations out of hiding, I took a look at what I had done for the [...]

I always go for color during the holidays. My favorite colors to wear during christmas are maroon, kelly greens, neon greens.. etc. I like to play up red + green without wearing the classic red and green christmas colors. Have a wonderful day and happy blogging!

That is so funny, I’m doing the same colors on my kitchen tree. I will add varied hues of copper to mine. Good luck with yours. I just love the holidays
