ROOM OF THE WEEK :: 4.9

Annemette Beck5

Today the sun is shining like it’s spring, and in honor of that little fact, this week my favorite room is an outdoor patio space full of insanely gorgeous texture. This ‘room’ belongs to Annemette Beck, an amazing textile designer (hence the gorgeous wall hanging). She is one of the few artists and designers commissioned by the […]

ROOM OF THE WEEK 1.14

tamara-kaye-honey-living-attic-bathroom

I have a new obsession you guys. ATTICS. Remodeled attics to be exact. See, the home I’m moving into with my boyfriend has one that is completely unfinished… and ripe for dreaming! Someday (if all goes well and I still live there in another year), we’d love to renovate it and make it our master […]

That shower is amazing! And, ahem, moving in with the boyfriend? Big news! Apparently I’m a little behind on the blog-reading. 😉

Love everything about this space! To me, attics are a decorator’s dream…they have great light, wonderful angles and a coziness you just can’t find in any other room!
All the best in your new home:)

I absolutely LOVE an attic bathroom! I’ve got a friend in SF who’s bathtub in smack-dab in the middle of her attic bedroom and it’s fantastic (even has a skylight above it). Definitely a dreamy space :)

What great ideas for attic! We have similar attic that I’ve dreamed of doing something with. This certainly gives me something to think about. The white and gold combo are perfect for smaller spaces with angles . Love!!

JANUARY MOODBOARD //

coco kelley winter moodboard

Post-holiday winter is always a bit of a reality check, isn’t it? This is the time of year where I realize that while the holidays may be over, the cold weather is really just beginning. Which, for me, means now that the Christmas decor is all packed away, it’s time for a winter refresh of […]

    Hi Cassandra

What beautiful images you have shared today. We are enjoying Summer and all it’s wonder in Australia but on those really hot days such pics are very welcome and I am envious of the thought of you dressing in a coat and scarf. You have to love Winter for all it layering goodness. I am also hearting the gold frames and mirrors, such a pop of decadence and shine never goes astray. Bonne Annee’ – Shell A Darlings Nest

I love that you posted about this Cass, I just had the exact same experience! As soon as we de-adorned our house of the holidays, I had the urge to purge. I rearranged the furniture and wan to get rid of the coffee table, the bar stools – all non essentials… Maybe 2014 will be the year of minimalism… Nah 😉

Wow, I kind of love that bedroom, but how over the top would it be?! Like living in a themed hotel – I feel like it would take some cojones lol
