IN THE DETAILS :: 10 WAYS TO ADD UNEXPECTED COLOR

10-ways-to-add-unexpected-color-to-your-home-via-coco-kelley

It’s funny how many people will claim they love color, and want to use more of it in their home, but then when faced with the reality of bold blue walls or citron sofas, they back away because – let’s be honest – color like that is quite the commitment. So for you wanna-be embracers of bold, here […]

I just love these ideas! The door and windowframe are on my top-list. I’ll keep them in mind as soon as I move into my new home!

    Have a lovely day!

Wow..some really different ideas. Love the painted interior door idea as well as the mini wall. I am looking with a more critical eye at my house to find a spot to incorporate some of these.

I definitely don’t shy away when it comes to color. I love adding bright and bold furniture and decor to my home. I am totally loving the idea of painting furniture trims and windows bold colors too. Got to give that one a shot.

Great examples. Using a neon accent color looks amazing in an otherwise neutral room. I especially love the orange accent on the bench and the brightly painted mini wall. I’ve been searching for mini walls to paint here too.

Kaitlyn – thank you for pointing this out! I usually so good about crediting images in my posts – must have hit the publish button a little too quick on this one. I will update it asap with sources.

INTERIORS TO INSPIRE :: FLURO + NEUTRAL

Real Living Magazine neutral fluro living room

Despite the fact that fluorescents have been trending for a while now, I’m still obsessed with them. I think there’s something about bright color against tan skin in the summer that makes me keep adding pieces in ultra-bright yellow and neon coral to my wardrobe. But my home? Well, that’s another story. I wasn’t sure I’d be […]

Love the oranges and pinks. I agree; such bright, fun, summery colors. I just made some exclusives pillows over at Brika, you ought to see.

I am so glad I found this post! I just ordered a sand colored couch from Restoration Hardware and was contemplating canceling the order because I was afraid it may be too dull, but you have totally got me so inspired with this post! Obsessed with the skull pillow. Seriously, thanks so much for posting and getting me excited about my couch! haha

FILLES A PAPA // SPRING

I’ve been looking for something to add a little kick to my style inspiration lately, and I think I found it in the Filles a Papa spring collection… Flannel paired with sequins? What more could this Seattle girl want? Loving it with the black denim too… since I live in my black skinny jeans. I […]

I did a photo shoot at the hotel with the NEON sign. Such a pretty little boutique hotel in Austin called Saint Cecilia. I was modelling for a converse photo shoot and they made me stand right in front of that sign where there is basically a foot of space between the wall and the pool. I definitely almost fell in a couple of times.
