GET THE LOOK :: NEON KNITS

cocokelley neon beanie street style

I’m going to try my hardest not to use a certain phrase here (you know, the one that starts with “pop…”) but it’s going to be tough! Cristina here and I’m really excited about this Get the Look. I can’t help it, seeing the bright neon colors together reminds me of a neon crayon box. [...]

GET THE LOOK:: POWER PLAY

LeeLee-Sobiesky-red coat Paris-Dior-by-Hanneli-Mustaparta-796x521-1

I have a hunch that if I put on a red coat I’d begin to walk and talk a little more like Blair Waldorf. Do you ever feel like putting on certain pieces of clothing is like putting on a new persona? It’s no wonder that politicians and authority figures wear red when they want [...]

    Hi Christina, a gorgeous look! Yes certain clothes make me feel more together, and stand taller with more confidence etc.

GET THE LOOK:: THE BLUES

259202_980

It took every muscle in my body to not start this post with I’m blue, da ba dee da ba di… and you can see why! Cristina here, and while reviewing the fashion week street style I happened upon this outstanding color trend. There is something very Violet Beauregarde (of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) about this look, to [...]

    blue is such a power color, especially in the bright hue you’ve picked to feature.

    at 6 mos preggo, if i did head to toe blue, i’d really would look like violet after she broke the rules and chewed the gum. haa.

GET THE LOOK:: GAME TIME

cocokelley get the look sporty street style

First it was baseball caps, then sneakers; if you didn’t know any better you’d think I was sporty or something! Cristina here, and alas I am not that at all. I guess I just enjoy a good menswear-inspired look! Whether you’re a bona fide fan or you just have a weakness for the uniform, here’s plenty [...]

      Love it! It’s sporty and showing team support without sacrificing any of the style. And Kacie’s right: my fiancee would definitely be on board!

GET THE LOOK :: OXBLOOD + BLUE

cocokelley get the look oxblood street style

Hey ladies! Cristina here, and if you’re wondering what color to introduce to your fall wardrobe this season, it’s definitely oxblood! The name may be slightly offputting, but the color is absolutely gorgeous. As I was pulling together my inspiration photos I noticed they all had one thing in common: blue accents (and if you recall, [...]

GET THE {NAUTICAL} LOOK

cocokelley nautical street style

Hey everyone! I’m feeling totally inspired by Cass’s sailing adventure (and I’m sure I’m not the only one!). Now let me preface this by saying I’ve never been sailing, but if I were to go my packing list would have to involve some mariner’s stripes, a parka, and some interior design magazines! I never want to [...]

    Agreed! As wonderful as technology is, it’s far too easy to get to the point where it controls your life instead of the other way around. Love the photos – there is nothing I love more than a good striped top :)

GET THE LOOK :: DARE TO BARE

get the look street style midriff

Hey everyone, Cristina here from Fuji Files with a fun Get the Look for those who dare to bare. Your midriff, that is. Don’t worry – this is not your Britney Spears, hip-hugger-jeans midriff, my friends. On the contrary this look requires a high waist and a dose of vintage-inspired sophistication!! While crop tops seem [...]

    In all honesty, I HATED this trend when it first arrived. But it’s has certainly grown on me! I love the idea of a maxi skirt with cropped top to keep things from being over-exposed.
