June has felt a bit like a dream to me - the weather hasn't quite decided on being permanently sunny yet, and the days have been flying by as I creep closer to my wedding day (which is on the 30th, if you're counting down with me!).
So, it only makes sense that this month's editor's shopping picks are verging on summer too.
It's funny how, without meaning to, I tend to always stray back into this palette of blues, greens, and touches of pink. Always with cream and brass accents. (You can see a lot of these tones in my current living room!) But it's the details and materials in some of our June edit picks that give these items a more summery feel!
1. harbor island blue bead chandelier | 2. brass hammered dish | 3. sculptural candelabra | 4. lenox leather dining chair | 5. glazed aqua fruit bowl | 6. printed assorted napkins | 7. antiqued mirror | 8. concrete and brass coffee table| 9. abstract shag rug | 10. etched brass pitcher
The new concrete & brass table combination at West Elm is pretty gorgeous. I love this coupling of materials, and we've been thinking about scaling down our coffee table a bit in the living room, so I may have to consider this one! It would certainly help lighten the room up a bit. Also on my shopping list are those pretty printed napkins (they come in other colors as well!) and the brass trays that are so perfect for holding everything from soap to jewelry. I think a few of them around the house would be handy!
