I love starting the week off with a beautiful house tour! And this one, my friends, is a stunner. With a soft, romantic palette, perfectly layered pattern, and a completely classic style, it’s bringing all the interior design goals…
Designed by Kristen Panitch, the entryway immediately sets the tone for the rest of the home. Awash in warm pink, with that rattan lamp for a little extra texture, the small room is eclectic, but not overwhelming. This color is used throughout the home along with other muted mauves and dusty plums and lilacs. Funny enough, you don’t really notice that the scheme is pink and purple! Instead it just feels feminine, offset by global textiles.
There are so many living spaces in this home (wait until you see the upstairs!) and while there is definitely a formality to these rooms, for me the layered pattern somehow helps in making it feel more welcoming.
Every time I look at these space I notice something else! The first time, it was those eye-catching pendants and of course the layered pattern. Then, that quirky lamp on the bar cart which I am now obsessed with. Notice how the solid drapes break up the pattern nicely in the space? And no rug to compete!
And then there’s the fresh kitchen with its soaring ceilings…
I would happily take those industrial globe pendants and petite leather stools and plop them right into my own kitchen.
Notice that some of the cabinets are also steel? This material lends itself to the vintage vibe that’s going on with those mid-century chairs, but – of course – paired with an antique wood table to keep with the eclectic style of the home.
The bones and architecture of the home are not to be ignored here. The herringbone floors, and detailed paneling in moldings throughout give it a refined farmhouse feel. There are also quite a few of these skylights that allow for natural light to come peeking in, which I love. There’s a balance of utilitarian and decorative elements going on that feels so good.
Have you noticed that every room boasts some seriously good lighting fixtures? Even the hallway is not to be missed. And neither is that pop of wallpaper in the bathroom!
More dusty tones continue in the upstairs, and this cozy TV room might be my favorite space in the house. Love those high-gloss walls! And check out the wet bar…
Again, lighting. Hello. And I think this is the only space we’ve seen a bit more blue come into play! I like it. Such a perfect spot for entertaining – everything you need to mix a cocktail is right there.
This bedroom is so my jam these days. I’m really obsessed with the idea of wallpapering our whole bedroom to create that English cottage feel, but with some modern textiles thrown in. Also to note – red nightstands are used in both of these bedrooms. It’s a color I don’t usually reserve for these more calm spaces in the home – but I love them here.
Hellloooooooo gorgeous brass vanity! A hit of glamour that’s a bit unexpected don’t you think? And now we get to my favorite…
Here’s one way to get the look of this dusty pink perfection:
I’m not gonna lie you guys – all I want in life is that dusty coral colored sofa. Come to mama! It would be so perfect in my living room! Which room would you recreate out of all the beautiful spaces in this home? The kitchen would be a close second for me!
