Weekend Loves + Links // 1.29

Happy weekend friends! This week has been a doozy for me and the team at The Emerald Studio, as we got to join in the fun (and crazy) of helping style up the Decorist Showhouse here in Seattle! If you’re in town, come see it in person on Saturday from 12-5pm (details here)!

If you don’t live here, don’t worry – I’m sure there will be plenty of instagrams to keep you satisfied! This room was done by my friend Brian Paquette, and it’s got one killer view of the city. Speaking of styling… we’ve got some really fabulous products and links this week to inspire!

1 // Everything that Commune Design touches is gold, as far as I’m concerned. Do yourself a favor and check out their latest space… in PARIS.

2 // Since having more dinner parties lately, I’ve realized that sometimes a pinch bowl full of salt isn’t the most appealing (although pretty) way to let people season their dish. Hence my sudden obsession with finding the coolest salt & pepper grinders out there. These fit the bill (in a variety of colors!).

3 // Have you heard of the company Umbra? They stock some of the most well-designed storage solutions I’ve ever seen. I just ordered a pretty (yes pretty!) stand-alone toilet paper holder, and am now debating on which of their jewelry organizers (like this copper one!) to add to the shopping cart.

4 // I want to make this bread so I can eat fancy leopard print bread in my leopard print pajamas every morning for breakfast. I mean REALLY.

5 // I thought we’d give you a little Friday Flashback from our own archives today as we head into (dum dum dum) Valentine’s Day season. A holiday in which I don’t normally participate, but I do love to use for inspirational shoots! This one incorporating a subtle Mexican theme and … wait for it … a churro bar.

6 // Any furniture piece that offers a two-in-one solution in this beautiful of a design has my vote. The tray lifts off and flips around to become a small side table or stool. Love it.
