How To Style :: Winter Bedding

While I appreciate a decent dose of color throughout the rest of the home, in the bedroom, I’ve always been a neutrals girl. And when it comes to bedding – an abundance of white sheets.

But when Parachute Home asked me to style up my bed with some winter bedding selections, I went totally rogue (not really) and decided on layers of gorgeous grey…

I absolutely love the soft dreamy sateen sheets in ‘ash’. Don’t tell but… I think I like them even better than white! They look and feel quite luxurious, but – thanks to their business model – Parachute bedding is quite affordable.

Designed in LA, produced in Italy, and their bedding is dyed naturally in a process that surpasses the highest safety and environmental protection standards, so you can feel good about sleeping in it too.

To contrast the sheen of the sateen sheets? Their heathered stripe duvet cover relaxes the vibe and adds some nice texture. I love the way the bedding looks with the pillows I already owned – I like to swap them out according to season, so a black and white plaid and a pillow with a little shimmer seemed like the perfect pairing for winter!

Makes you want to dive right into bed, right? I’ve always wanted to celebrate Christmas morning in bed, and I’m thinking this might be the year! Our stockings will be hung on the headboard with care.

Add a cozy rug and you’re all set for some major winter snuggling.

This is the kind of gift I’d give myself, but it’s one you can feel good about – for every set of Venice sheets sold, Parachute gives makes a contribution to Nothing but Nets – a global, grassroots campaign created by the United Nations Foundation to prevent malaria in Africa.
