Holiday Diy :: Marbleized Christmas Ornaments!

This year, to top off our fabulous office Christmas tree, we wanted to make some of our own ornaments. Store bought is a great way to fill a tree, of course, but adding that dose of handmade makes such a difference! Our theme? Marbleized!

This first DIY is brought to you by Balsam Hill – the lovely company who sent us our big white tree this year! I had seen quite a few marbleized glasses this year and though – why not an ornament? So we took our best shot at it and after a few tries… here’s what we came up with! Enjoy the video!

I have to say that subtle colors and texture that came from these ornaments were a great addition to the tree. If you have any questions about the instructions, feel free to ask! The only major tip I have is to let the paint dry completely before you hang them – otherwise, the paint will shift and settle inside the ball once hung and it ruins the original swirls that you have in there.

And do you see those marbleized paper gems? Those are coming up in our next DIY post!

For those of you still considering a last-minute tree, check out Balsam Hill for this lovely, and many more. I have to say the quality is outstanding! And you’ll get $25 off any purchase over $250 (non-sale items only) with the code COCO25 until Dec 24th.
