Hello, November.

I can hardly believe that it’s that time of year again. I’ve been in total denial of our season change around here – attempting to prance around in lightweight jackets and flats instead of bundling up against the ever-dropping temps. Refusing to acknowledge that the holidays are just around the corner. But, it’s all most definitely here. In fact, I just resurrected a Christmas tree in our office for a photo shoot next week, so I suppose there’s no fighting it now!

‘Tis the season for winter nesting and holiday prepping. For feasting with friends and cozying in for the season. This month always feels a bit transitional to me. In theory, it’s the calm before the December storm of holiday parties and Christmas shopping. In my reality, it’s going to be full of photo shoots and prepping for tons of holiday content on the blog…

I’m hoping I get to relish a few quiet moments towards the end of this month, if I’m lucky. The payoff, of course, will be the chance to actually enjoy some downtime in December. Until then… I’m off and running! Have a happy little weekend all!
