Lately, we’ve been having these moody, foggy mornings in Seattle, which is making my aesthetic shift from summer right into fall. From an editorial standpoint, it’s hard not to always be thinking a month or two ahead. In fact, today we’re shooting some gorgeous autumn looks for the blog, and discussing plans for fashion week, so it feels like September in my mind.

It’s no wonder then, that when searching for some inspiration today, this home, shot by Prue Ruscoe, seemed to perfectly fit where my head is at….

I love the drama of this space, and the way the lighting jumps out at you in these dark rooms and hallways. Plus, I’m still obsessing over green sofas. Perhaps in my next place…

We’ve been having a few hours of fog every day here in Victoria, too. I absolutely love the fog … so mysterious. The pictures of the home shot by Prue Ruscoe are gorgeous. I could be very, very happy in that house.

And fall … well, I can hardly wait for it to arrive!

I completely agree! These cool rainy mornings make me crave pumpkin spice lattes and soft knit scarves and damp orange leaves! Bring on the fall- I’m ready!
