Summer is officially here, and I am officially days away from a true vacation. Tomorrow I head to NYC for a few whirlwind meetings, and then… it’s beach time!!

And let me tell ya, my suitcase is full of white white white.

Next week we’ll have a few last-minute ideas for some 4th of July celebrating before I disappear for a few days of truly being unplugged. I can’t wait to spend time with new friends on the shore! Until then… have a happy weekend all!

Don’t get mad at me, I really like your blog, but: that girl looks awful! Look at her knees and her arms! She doesn’t have any muscle or fat… Why would you use a picture so unhealthy to illustrate summer??

hi dani! this isn’t the first time i’ve had a comment like this, and i’m sure it won’t be the last. it’s virtually impossible to find photos of ‘healthy’ models out there, and i certainly don’t mean to promote this image as healthy. i chose it because it fit the mood of the post, and i wanted a model wearing white. simple as that. i’m sorry if it offends you in any way.

It didn’t offended me! it’s nothing like that. It’s just that… I feel bad for her, looking so fragile and underfed. It’s so risky for females to be so underweight, so many health issues are associated with it and I can’t see that picture as “happy”. I want to hug her and feed her a steak.
Sorry if I bother you, It really wasn’t my intention.
        Have a nice weekend!
