I’ve been doing our Room of the Week series since pretty much the beginning of this blog (that’s nearly six years for those of you who are counting) and I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything like today’s room…

Because, yeah. There’s a pool in the living room. And while that’s certainly not the only cool detail here, it’s definitely the most conversation worthy! I can only wonder how well this actually works… but the space is pretty incredible. Loving all the built-ins and the huge sliding glass doors too!

With a rope swing and everything! Whaaaaat!? I hope that fine Italian leather holds up to the splashing. The home is located in Palermo, Sicily, and knowing how warm it was when I was there a few years ago, I’m pretty sure this space must get a little steamy.

You gotta love all that natural light flowing through, and the plethora of white everywhere. The kitchen setup is really interesting too – check out that huge picture window separating it from the dining room!
