While I’m usually an all-white kinda girl, if I’m going to do color on the walls, it’s nice to have it feel as serene and enveloping as this…

studio too good dining room

This dining nook feels so peaceful, with natural light streaming in from the window, and the green extending from indoors to out. The simple color scheme is incredibly calming, and I love the richness added by the tufted leather bench cushions. Without it, the space simply wouldn’t be as interesting. Can I also get a round of applause for that lighting?! And those floors! The narrow art shelf also adds some depth – I like that they did a shelf vs. just hanging the pieces. It adds a nice simple bit of ‘architecture’ to the space.

I’m looking to paint my kitchen this color. Would you mind sharing the paint colors name that you used?

I am participating in a showhouse this fall. My room inspiration is Audrey Hepburn. These shades of green and turquoise are such a modern take on the traditional, expected ‘Tiffany’s Blue” you often associate with Audrey Hepburn. Love it and thanks for sparking the idea!
