I realize that this whole marbleized ‘look’ has been lingering for some time now (around with watercolour prints and renditions of agate), but there’s something about it that keeps me coming back for more – in all its various forms – just when I think it’s had its moment…
With so many variations on a theme, it’s not difficult to see how marble patterns continuously evolve. But, seriously – who would have thought I’d love actual pink marble (in a bath no less) so much? It just goes to show that there’s always a way to make something old new again…
I’m excited to be using a bit of the marbleized look in our Easter tabletop next week, too… can’t wait to show you guys!

I love the look of marble. It just screams history. The pink marble in the picture above is funky, I like it.
